Author's note the following storyline is a product of my imagination, but uses the characters from Hasbro Gi Joe Franchise. The following characters come from Hasbro G. franchise.
I wrote this tale as a Mainframe and Zarana story and it shows what would have happen if she truly left the side of evil for the good life with Mainframe... they had a child together and one day the young one asked her the question...
"How did you and Daddy met?"
It was a question that she hoped would never come up from any of her children, but her was her daughter asking the very question she dreaded for a long time…
Luckily she had just the thing that would be almost the truth, but only half of it.
"Remember when I told you that mommy used to be an actress before she met daddy?" she told the little one who replied to her with a nod.
"Well one of my jobs had me acting as where Daddy works, but I was sent there to hurt Daddy…"
"Hurt Daddy?" the little one asked.
"Yes, but I didn't know Daddy like I do know him now. After a while I fell in you with Daddy and I just couldn't bare to hurt him, but I also couldn't leave a job unfinish…"
"So what did you do?" asked the young one to the mother.
"You mean to ask is "What did your Daddy do?" as he let me go when he learned the truth."
"Daddy let you go? But why?" the young one asked her mother
"It was because your daddy knew what it was like to have a job and finish it to the very end. It's why he's does what he does each day to keep us safe everyday. Do you understand?"
"I think so mommy."
"Good, now I think it's time for you to get ready for bed don't you think?"
So the young one got ready for bed while her mother booted up their security computer that they had. After saying good night to the little one she walked over to the computer and typed up the secured access line that would connect her to her husband.
"Hello Luv'," she stated when she saw his face on the screen.
"Hello to yourself gorgeous," he responded.
"I just put the little one up and said that Daddy said good night as well."
"Good, I wish I could be there with you, but you know how Duke is with security checks," he responded to her.
" Was it my brother again?" she asked him.
"Thankfully no," he responded, "The Dreadnaughts have been staying low since Destro's last attack. How are things over there?"
"Oh the usual…there's a school play coming up, can you and the kids make it?"
"We'll try," he responed, "But why the late night call?"
"The young one asked us or about how we met…" she replied.
"What did you say?"
"I gave out the actress story that we're keeping up," she responded.
"Good…" he stated silently, "It's one thing to give out a story like that, it's another thing to tell the truth."
"Well, that's one thing I hope we never have to do."
"I know…it only more difficult that my kids know about what I do. Our child has to be different at least excluded from our past…for her own safety," he said.
"I know luv," she told him, "I know."
With a minor kiss and a "I love you," she turned off the computer and went into bed…going to sleep by looking out the window and seeing the full moon and hoping that he was looking out too. It was their favorite thing to do.
