A/N: I haven't posted in ages, so I apologize for being rusty, but I HAD to post a story to mark the last week of Enkidu07 and Onyx being our glorious leaders. No doubt, they will live on FOREVER in the drabbles written in their names. Thanks for providing so much fun over the years!

"But she promised," Dean sobbed uncontrollably as John held him. John was torn between being relieved that the boy had finally spoken and being worried about the torrent of emotions that had come flooding out.
"She said she'd never leave. That we'd be together forever." John could barely hear the muffled words against his chest.
"She didn't lie, kiddo. She is with us forever in our hearts and memories. Just like I'll always be with you and Sammy, and you'll both be with each other forever too," John promised.
Dean's hand snaked out, and Sammy grabbed on to his finger.
