So… I was pretty bored, so flipomatic gave me a bunch of pairings and said, "Write some drabbles."

So write I did…

Lucy was not in love. Oh no… definitely not in love.

Especially not with a certain fire breathing dragon slayer.

Lucy could never be that stupid… not noticing how with each passing day, she'd been slowing falling for him. Ever since he saved her and brought her to Fairy Tail. She let out a groan, leaning her forehead into one hand, frustrated with her own helplessness in the situation.

Nope, not in love…

She first started to notice that tugging feeling in her heart as she watched him beat up Gajeel, with the constant knowledge that he was doing it for her, not for anyone but her. She felt butterflies as he walked over to her so calmly and smoothly at the end, flashing his famous grin. She pushed these aside of course, saying that she had been through a traumatizing day, and needed some good food and rest.

Then, she started noticing the little things about him, all of his quirks, like how he was unable to ride in transportation without becoming ill, but was somehow able to soar in the skies with Happy.

Like how he always said, "See ya," instead of a traditional, "Goodbye," when he left the Guild for the day because deep down he thought that if he said goodbye, he wouldn't see his friends ever again.

The way he stared deep into her eyes, like he could see straight down into her soul, then breaking the moment so thoughtlessly with a dumb comment.

Still in denial, Lucy watched as Natsu turned from a boy into a man, her man, but not really, because she was not in love.

"Hey Lucy!" A voice cuts into Lucy's thoughts, causing her to tense up.

Lucy swivels in her chair only to come face to face with the man that was just occupying her thoughts. "Hey Natsu, what's up?"

Natsu plops down on the stool bar next to her, grinning from ear to ear. "Nothing much really, you just were staring off into space, and I was wondering what you were thinking about."

A light blush brushes across Lucy's cheeks at the mention of Natsu knowing her thoughts, but she quickly pushes it down. "Oh nothing really, just about our next mission."

"Right! We leave tomorrow." Natsu glances up at the Guild clock, "I gotta go, better get packing. See you tomorrow Lucy!" With that Natsu is gone, whizzing off to wherever he lives.

Lucy lets out a sigh as the tension drains out of her body.

Nope, definitely not in love.

I played it pretty light, naturally they didn't get together or anything, it just talks about Lucy's obvious infatuation with Natsu. I hope you guys liked it!

I know it was kind of short, but I was going for cutesy.
