E/O Challenge: trick or treat

Warning/Spoilers: none

Word Count: 100

Summary: I've never done two challenges for one word (or phrase) so thank you for the indulgence! Some notes on the drabble after the story, I will let the readers make up their own mind as to what is going on here...

Halloween Toast

"Sure, I'll take another beer. Big crowd you have in here tonight...Halloween night, huh? I never liked Halloween. Why? Could say it just reminds me of things out there...the things out there that are real. Yeah, you are laughing now...you won't be laughing when there is a certain something in your closet some night and I'm not there to kill it for you. Okay, okay, you're right, worst pick-up line ever. I saw you roll your eyes! Yeah, give me a shot of that – what is it? – pumpkin flavored tequila? Well, here's to us...trick or treat. Ugh."

Just a few moments into the Pilot of SPN, Sam espouses about how much he dislikes Halloween. For some reason that always stuck with me - one on of the most kid-centered, fun holidays, he was deprived of that enjoyment and carried that into adulthood. So here, I picture him on the stool in the corner of the bar, conversing with the bartender, who I hope is pretty, for his sake.
