It was a beautiful warm day at Kings Cross. It was also the day that Albus, Lily, James, Hugo and Rose went to Hogwarts for the first time.

"What if I'm in Slytherin?" cried James for the last time, as he was walking onto the train with his friends. Harry walked up to the train window where James and the other four were sitting.

"You won't be, I promise," whispered Harry to James. "Now cheer up; it's going to be your first year at Hogwarts. Be happy," said Harry.

"Okay," sighed James.

Hermione, Ron and Ginny walked up to say goodbye to their children as the train started up. They all backed away as the train left the station.

"Goodbye!" they all yelled, until they couldn't see the train anymore. Hermione started to tear up with happiness. Her two children were going to Hogwarts for the first time!

Meanwhile, on the Hogwarts train, Albus, Lily, Hugo, Rose and James were so excited they could hardly sit still. Rose and Lily were starting to change into her robes, even though they weren't even close to arriving. Lily started to whisper to Rose as James, Hugo and Albus stared at them. Rose started to giggle softly.

"What are you talking about?" asked a little girl, with long thin blond hair as she walked in.

"What's your name?" asked Hugo.

"Oh, my name is Lucy Longbottom. Your mom and dad might know my parents, Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom."

"Oh!" said James. "My dad told me how your mom used to be called loon—" Lily smacked his mouth shut before James could finish talking.

"By the way," said Lucy coldly, "she was not loony, because she was in Ravenclaw — the house for the people who are the smartest." Lucy flipped her hair and left.

"Um...okay?" said Albus.

An hour later all five were chatting happily, when they heard someone shout: "12 minutes until we arrive!" Rose and Lily started to scream softly with excitement.

"Well, we're gonna go change into our robes," said James. Before they knew it, they were at Hogwarts! They packed up everything and got off the train. In front of them was the huge, beautiful castle. Cold night air hit their faces as they walked up to the castle doors. The stars shined brightly in the cold misty air.

"We're here!" said Lily and Rose.

"Yep," said Hugo staring in awe at the castle.

The doors opened and they moved to go in.
