"Tak, please," Dib was backed against the wall of his bedroom as Tak slowly crept towards him, the knife in her hand glittering in the dim light, "be reasonable."
A hideous smirk of darkness flashes across Tak's green face. She shifted her grip on the knife's hilt, angling it towards Dib's chest. Why should she care if she kills him? He ruined her one chance to become an invader for the Tallest. The smirk spread across her face like a disease, surrounding her with an aura of iniquity. In a flash, she was gone. Dib looked around the room frantically, panting from fear. An icy wind blew past Dib's arm and Tak reappeared beside him, her face a shadow below her raised arm.
Tak hissed into Dib's ear, sending a shiver of panic down his spine, "This is for your own good Dib. You won't feel a thing."
A tear glinted below Dib's eyes before Tak crashed to knife deep into his chest. She ripped the weapon from his body only to puncture the skin again. Blood was spewed all over Tak and the walls. Tak felt the flecks of warm liquid hit her face each time she stabbed the now lifeless body of the human. A cry of pure joy ripped its way up Tak's throat. Never before had she felt so powerful. Just then, she heard heavy footsteps nearing Dib's room. She finished the job with one easy swoop, chopping Dib's head clear off his body. More blood coated the wall near the window. Tak picked up the discarded head and mindlessly threw it on the floor, leaving the knife lying next to the cold corpse. With one quick jump, Tak was out of the house, sitting on the roof, awaiting the cry that soon followed. Professor Membrane dropped to the floor beside his headless son, cradling what was left of the boy. His tears stained the stump of Dib's neck, diluting the crisping blood.
Gaz heard her father's crying and burst into the room, looking first at the red splattered wall, then to her father sitting beside the remnants of her brother. With a quick huff she mumbled, "Good riddance," and sauntered back out of the cold room.
Tak peered back in through the window in time to see Professor Membrane stand up and walk over to Dib's computer, jiggling the mouse. She heard the father gasp as the screen illuminated and a picture of a disguise-less Zim popped onto the screen. Tak turned away from the window, finding that she couldn't bare the family's pain any longer.
As she turned to leave, she heard Membrane whisper, "Maybe he wasn't so insane after all..."
