Chapter One: Prologue

Sakura Haruno. The girl known for her powder pink hair and fists of fury, or so he thought. Nowadays, Miss Haruno seemed known for her skills in taijutsu and medic ninjutsu. Her younger years she spent mooning over the youngest Uchiha, ignoring the crazy Uzumaki Naruto and following her tearcher; Master Kakashi. These days she was known for being the strong apprentice of the Hokage, Tsunade. Days lately were filled with work and missions, usually not much time for herself; along with the rest of the female ninja in town. Hokage Tsunade knew the girls would more than likely need a break at some point, so she took action. A week away from the leaf village just might revive the girls.

Tenten, Hinata, Sakura and Ino stood in Hokage Tsunade's office quietly at attention waiting for the supposed mission Tsunade was planning for the girls. Tsunade smiled at the girls and stood up. "Good afternoon ladies." She said nodding at the kunoichis and continued, "I've called you all here for a mission you're all to take…a vacation." She said and the girls looked a little confused.

"Tsunade-sempai, don't you need us for missions here this week? Surely there wont be enough ninja-" Sakura tried to speak up, but Tsunade raised her hand to silence the girl.

"Sakura. There's no need to worry, your Hokage has it all take care of. Don't worry your pink head about anything. All of you ladies go pack your bags, nothing ninja-like. You're all going horseback so I hope you have experience. You're going to the Waterfall Inn on the outskirts of the water nation. A week off is quite a feat that I think probably no other Hokage has offered; so make the most of this week." She said staring at all girls, smiling thankfully. The girls nodded and thanked her as they left for their homes to pack up for their vacation.

Sakura shared a home with Naruto right now, most of the time only one of them was home while the other was on a mission. Speaking of Naruto Uzumaki, these days he was usually seen with Hinata in toe, tugging the blue haired girl along. It had only been a few months now, but they were an item nowadays. Quickly packing her bags up with some loose but feminine clothing, without too many decoration she made her way to the village gates and smiled at her friends all mounted on a horse or mulling a bit, only Ino though. Ino had no experience with a horse what so ever.

After a short time of giving Ino the basics of riding a horse; the girls headed toward the Wave nation for the start of their vacation away from the oh-so-familiar Leaf Village.
