Unexpected Friends on Sight
(Amy POV)
I wonder. What would my first kiss be like? I wonder who'd it'd be with? I wonder how come I've never been kissed? Hmm? Oh well. I know my first is going to be Sonic. No doubt about that. He just hasn't showed his true colors yet. Oh look. There he is!
(End of POV)
"Oh no! Amy, keep away from me!"
"Sonic I just wanted to talk to you. That's all."
"Amy just leave me alone!"
"But Sonic all I wanted was…"
"God dang it Amy! Can't you see! You should know by now that I have no interest in you!"
"You don't mean that."
"Yes I do! With every bone in my body I do!"
"Sonic you know deep down you care." She goes up and tried to hug him.
"No! No I don't deep down! There's not a hole deep enough!" Sonic spat.
"But Sonic I thought….you saved me lots of times and I thought…."
"I save everybody! What makes you so special?"
"I thought…."
"You thought wrong! Now get out of my way!"
"Sonic how could…..how did you become so….mean!" She pulled out her hammer out of anger.
"I can be what I want Amy! Now bye!" He zoomed away.
Amy stood there in tears. She ran off. Her blue hero lodged in her brain.
"Why! Why does he hate me so much?" Amy cried still running on.
She kept running until she ran into an unsuspected character.
"Shadow!"
"Rose?"
"What are you doing here Shadow?"
"I cannot wonder with out having a purpose?" He said coldly.
"No I just…."
"You've been crying. What happened?" He reached out and whipped the falling tear away.
"It's nothing, Shadow."
"Tell me."
"Shadow, I…"
"You can trust me Rose."
How can I trust someone I've only meet a few weeks ago?
"Um Shadow I don't think I can."
"Why not?"
"I hardly know you and I don't know how you would react."
"I see. Well cannot say I did not try. Goodbye Rose."
Amy watched him leave and frowned.
"Shadow, wait." She reached out and touched his arm. He tensed up which scared her but she calmed down.
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry I said that. You really want to know?" Amy smiled. Shadow turned to her and nodded.
"Well Sonic said a few things that hurt me and…"
"Did he hurt you physically?!"
"No. No he didn't, He just said a few things that made me sad. That's all. See, I knew you'd react this way."
"I'm sorry but him hurting you like that is not right what so ever." Shadow frowned.
"Yeah but I think I'm over it now." She smiled.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked.
"Positive. Thanks for listening." She smiled.
"Any time." He smiled. He turned the corner and left her there alone. She sighed and walked home to her apartment. She jumped on her computer and began to write to her friends Rouge, Tikal, Cream, Charmy, Vector, Espio, even me!! (yey!)
She kept writing till she saw that Shadow wasn't on her list. She knew his email and thought it would be nice to have a conversation with her new best friend. Unlike Sonic, whom she deleted. ( haha.)
A/N: I have absolutely no idea where this came from. So if you want to know I don't really have a straight answer. I just added the friend list thing since I have friends here so why not let Amy have some friends on the net. Hehe. Oh and as for the song I liked the lyrics for the fic though I didn't use them here.
