Arthur was on his balcony, staring down at the courtyard. He watched Merlin walk towards the pump, and start filling his bucket with water. A girl walked up behind him, and said his name. He turned around, and Arthur could see his jaw drop from the balcony. Merlin rushed forward and grabbed the girl in a hug, and with a shout of "Freya!" spun her around in the air. Their laughs were crystal clear, and quite the lovely sound combined. Then, to Arthur's complete and utter astonishment, she pulled Merlin to her and kissed him, which he returned after a moments surprise, and wrapped his arms tighter around her again. When they broke apart, he started leading her in the direction of Gaius' home. Arthur stepped back inside his room. He had no idea Merlin could have had a girl friend. He didn't think until know that his friend could woo a bird. He would have to talk with Merlin about this, but later, probably at dinner. No, definitely at dinner.
