Summary: Sequel to 280 Days. Just some important first (and such) for baby Lin. Fluff abound.
Chapter 1:
First Sunrise
~October 14th, 5:58 a.m.~
Russia and China got quite the rude awakening. The sun hadn't even risen yet when Lin woke up and started to cry. China was still recovering from surgery, so Russia got up and walked over to the baby's bassinette and picked her up, her little arms flailing. He tried making soft 'shhh' sounds, but that didn't work. Russia's expression reflected only one word: help. China pressed the call button to summon San Marino.
When she arrived, Russia was already attempting to change Lin's diaper, despite having close to no idea how. Even after she showed him how, and the changing was done, she was still crying.
China spoke up. "Hand her to me, aru." Russia nodded and gently handed over the crying baby to her mother. China laid the little girl on his shoulder, rubbing her back, humming softly. The baby let out what sounded like a hiccup…and stopped crying soon after. He then moved her so that he was cradling her in his arms and continued humming until she fell asleep.
"So cute, da?" Russia said, gently wrapping his arm around China's shoulders. "How did you know that?"
"Experience, aru," replied China. He lazily gestured to the window. "Look, Ivan. The sun's coming up, aru."
The family watched the sun come up before breakfast arrived.
