So, in case anyone is confused….Malex is Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro (from Rick Riordan's Magnus Chase book series) shipped together. Not FierroChase. My good friend Jade (Reader4ever1) wrote one herself called Campfire Heart. You should go check it out.

Magnus was having a nervous breakdown, a heart attack, and felt like throwing up all at once. Alex still hadn't given him a proper response since he confessed how he really felt….in front of her mom, half-sister, their friends, and a bunch of bad guys.
Sure they'd kissed a few times after that, held hands, and gone on some outings (not dates, just hanging out together), but they hadn't made it official yet.
'What if she just wants to have a kind of friends with benefits? What if she just wants to keep it loose with no real title? What if-' Magnus was drawn out of his thoughts by someone opening the door to his room.
"Hey, Goldie Locks, what are you doing?" Alex asked. Magnus took a look at her, at least he felt like today was one of her 'her/she' days, and shrugged as he tried to be nonchalant. "Oh no, none of that. Spit out what's bothering you."
"I was just wondering-" Magnus was once again cut off as the door opened yet again to reveal a redheaded, grey eyed, girl who was definitely not Mallory. She wore a short purple dress with flats, an attire not usually worn in the Hotel. "Why does everyone keep barging in?"
"I'm sorry, but I'm new to the floor. Name's Veronica. I just wanted to meet my new neighbor," Veronica said as she flipped her hair. Magnus tilted his head in confusion as she came over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "What's your name, Handsome?"
Before magnus could come up with a response, any response at all, Alex walked towards them and tugged Veronica's hand off of his shoulder and stared angrily at the now pouting girl.
"My boyfriend's name is Magnus, and I'm Alex. Now you've met him, and now you can leave," Alex's face left no room for arguing and Veronica stuck her nose up and slammed the door as she left.
"Boyfriend?" Magnus questioned. Alex slapped Magnus upside the head before pulling him into a quick, but loving kiss.
"Of course. What did you think we were?"
"Um, I, well, uh….." Magnus trailed off as Alex started laughing. She gave him a quick peck as she got ready to leave.
"If she bothers you again, you better let me know. I gotta go get me something to eat. See you at dinner."
As soon as the door shut, Magnus pounded the air with his fist. Funny; he didn't feel nearly as sick as he had earlier.
