Running Around In Life
Chapter 1
Harry was getting old, too old for this anyway. He has 10 children and he can't keep a handle on anything. Oh, why did the Weasleys must be so fertile. The names of the children were Lily & Rose (Identical Twins), James, Sirius, Ruby, Josh, Sam, Caitlin, Sarah and Tyler. These were his ten children, and he loved them very dearly. The Potter & Black estates could support them for life if they wanted but between Harry and everyone else, he preferred over working himself, it let Ginny stay at home with the children and he gets some much needed rest. Between his time working in the DMLE as an auror on night duty, monitoring Diagon & Knockturn alley for a four-hour shift, he also worked as the CEO of St Mungo's Magical Hospital and its muggle counterpart. He was ready to improve the lives of witches and wizards worldwide by developing cures and medicines for magical and muggle illness and disease. This gave him an average of 10,000 galleons per week in salary. As he said, he could live comfortably, in his mansion, with Ginny and the kids for the rest of his life, but he needed a change. He would love to go on another adventure again.
Today was a very special day, because Lily & Rose, his two eldest children and the heirs to the Potter & Black Estates (Lily Black and Rose Potter) were about to start Hogwarts, that's right, it was time for his children to start growing up, and going of and doing their own thing. Okay maybe his youngest was only 3 years old, but still, send them all away to school, he didn't need them.
As he watched Lily & Rose head of on the train to Hogwarts, he could not help but remember the days when he used to get on the train and go to the place he called home, with his two best friends by his side. Ron was now dead unfortunately, his anger had gotten the better of him and tried to kill The Queen. Why we will never know, but he got killed for his treason. Once Ron had died, Hermione had taken their children and had gone abroad to Australia, to live out the rest of her life in peace. It was that same Hermione who had sent him a letter this morning while eating breakfast, and while he was tempted, he didn't know what to do. The letter read
"Dear Harry,
My sweet, sweet Harry, it has been a long time since I left the country called Great Britain. What was truly Great about it, nothing other than you. I married Ron out of pity, rather than Love, I loved you, I always did, we had so many great adventures together and I want to one more before I die. This last year I got bit by a deadly spider, thanks to some of your cures, we managed to step the poison from taking over any more of my body. Unfortunately, I don't have long left, I will be joining Ron in the afterlife and our two children will be left Orphans. I want us to have one last great adventure. One we never got to do as a trio, let us adventure round the world. Please I have less than year, and I want to see the sights with you one last time. My parents will look after my children for me and I am sure you can figure something out with Ginny.
If you agree, this letter will act as a portkey, 24 hours from the time you receive this letter, if you are with the portkey, I will know you are coming with me, if not, I wish you all the best in life my love, I will truly be with you in spirit forever and always.

Harry was broken, surely it was some cruel twist of fate, that Hermione got bit, that his cures had extended her life. He really wanted to go and be with Hermione, even just for a small time but he had kids, how could he do that to those precious soles. He had an idea, but it was going to take every bit of courage he could muster to pull off lying to Ginny.
"Ginny, I've meaning to talk to you" Harry said to Ginny as they loaded the kids into the car after seeing Lily & Rose off.
"Well, make it quick dear, you have work to go to and I have kids to look after" Said Ginny, obviously annoyed at Harry
"That's just the thing, this is about work, my work with hospital. Hermione is sick, she got bit by a deadly spider and is not going to survive the year. I think I can find a cure, but it's going to involve me travelling for a few months, to find, discover and create an anti-dote. I know we have drifted apart, but maybe this can bring us closer together" Asked Harry
"I know you care for her, she has always been a part of relationship unfortunately. I will agree on one condition, once you return, you give up your careers, no more working, you stay at home with me and the children and become their father once and for all" demanded Ginny
Harry was carefully deliberating in his answer, what should he do, he needed this adventure but he did not want to give everything he'd worked for up and go home. He had to though, for Hermione's sake.
"Alright, if that it is what you wish, then I shall do it" Harry said softly
"Swear it, on your magic" Ginny spoke with venom in her voice
"I Harry James Potter, swear on my life and magic that once I have returned from travelling, I shall quit my careers and return home to be a father and husband to my children and wife. So I say it, So mote it be"
