Kat held Spike's dying body closer, a single tear falling down her
face. "You baka.....go and get yourself killed, little sister Kat won't
care." Spike jerked a little, and with his last breath muttered.
"Kat...I'll see ya...be a good cowgirl now...." His words drifted off, and
Kat looked down. "Spike?" She shook him slightly. "SPIKE!!" She screamed
when she realized he was dead.
"Mam, and I help you?" An officer of the red dragons looked down at her, while she still held her brothers body close. "Get the fuck away!" She glared at the man, before standing up, pulling spike up with her. She carried him to her car, and drove home, putting his now cold body on her couch. She patched him up, then looked down. "You and me have a date in the morning."

Jet turned the song on the radio up, and faye looked at him. The song was sad, a girl singing about death, sadness, and love. The song ended, and the radio announcer exclaimed, "That was the newest song by Katrina Spegal, The Real Folk Blues!" Faye gasped slightly. "She has Spike's last name!" She looked over at jet, who nodded. "It's his younger sister....I found some tickets to her upcoming concert in Spikes stuff...If you want to go." Faye jumped up and down. "Really?!" Jet nodded, and faye went off to change her clothes.
Jet walked into the cockpit, his leg long healed. It had been a week since spike had disappeared. He should have thought died, but you could never be sure about Spike. Who knows, he could be crashed out on his sisters couch for all he knew. He set course for mars, and leaned back in the seat. Faye walked past him, muttering about food again.
"Jet....do you think he's alive?" She asked him, a slight tremble in her voice. He shrugged slightly. "Never could tell with Spike. He might have, he might not have...is there anything else you talk about, besides food and Spike?" Faye looked down slightly, and Jet felt a moments sympathy. "I know how you felt about him, Faye, but there's nothing else we can really do now. Honest. We'll get to mars in a few hours, and I managed to get a conference with Kat. She can tell us whats up." Faye smiled weakly. "It's going to be a long few hours, Jet." He sighed. "With you, it sure is."
