Disclaimer: All hail the almighty goddess Naoko.....

At the Tokyo High School, Serenity stood with the color guard members in her blue raincoat, as it was a cold night. Her instructor, Kaiou Michiru-sensei, was having another talk with the guard. Serenity often was bored with these talks and would glance around at the other TSDHS Marching Band members practicing music, stretching, or chasing each other with their instruments. And every time she would glance around, she would always stop on the one person that could actually make everything seem like it was heaven for her.
'Chiba Mamoru,' she thought. Suddenly, as she continued her daydream, her heart started beating very fast and her face was heating up as she realized that he was staring right back at her! 'Oh no! He's looking at me!' But one thing she did realize, as she spun back around to pay attention to the sensei that he had smiled at her! 'Well, I guess not all things are bad…'
"Okay, guard, you can go and stretch now," Kaiou-sensei announced.
"Sere-Chan! Did you hear one word of what Kaiou-sensei was saying?" Minako exclaimed. Serenity just shook her head.
"No, Minako-san. What did Kaiou-sensei say?"
"Well, she said that after tonight, the band, drumline, and color guard are all going out for pizza afterwards, compliments of the band parents!"
"Oh, really. Well, that's nice," Serenity said, still shocked at what happened only a few minutes ago.
"Jeez, Serenity!" Minako sighed, "What happened to you?"
"Oh, nothing, I suppose."
"Nothing huh? Then why do you look like you've been smacked with a stupid stick with that blushing and dazing of yours?"
"What?! I'm still blushing?" Serenity started excitedly. She turned around quick to put on some concealer powder.
"Yeah, you're still blushing. Like a God-damned fool!" Minako accused.
"Oh God, oh God, oh God!"
Minako sighed. "Okay, Serenity, what's got you like this all of a sudden?" Minako inquired. She knew why, of course, but had to get it out of Serenity first.
"Uh, umm…" Serenity suddenly grew nervous all of a sudden, and tried to look for an excuse as to why she was blushing.
"Is it because Mamoru-san winked at you?" Minako asked softly. Serenity looked at her in surprise and blushed even more, but she didn't shake or nod her head. 'This is going to be tougher than I thought.'
"A simple yes or no will do, odango." Minako and Serenity looked up to see Mamoru approaching them. "I do believe your senior asked you a question."
Minako grinned like a drunken man who just got laid and said, "Yeah, Serenity, spit it out." 'If this doesn't get it out of her then I don't know what will.'
"Uh… Uh, M-Mamor-ru-s-san w-was… um… w-winking a-at m-m-me…" Serenity stuttered slowly. 'There. I said it. What more do they want from me?'
'Finally! I finally got it out of her!' "So, Mamoru-san was winking at you? Well, what do you have to say to this, Mamoru-san?" Minako slyly inquired.
"Well," Mamoru started, "it's true. I did wink at Tsukino-san here a moment ago."
"Hmm. Very interesting. Sere-Chan, what do you have to say to this?" Minako asked.
"Well, umm, I… uh…" Serenity didn't get a chance to finish her sentence because she dropped dead in a faint onto the ground.
"Oh dear. I guess that was too much for her," Minako concluded. "Kaiou-sensei! Serenity's fainted!"
"Oh dear. Well, Chiba, help me get her back to the buses. I'll deal with her there," Kaiou-sensei said.
