It's late at night, the storm is raging outside. You are cowering on your bed curled in a tight ball. Tears stream down your face as thunder and lightning crash outside. Ever since you were little you have been afraid of thundestorms. Tonight is different though. Tonight you cry for more than one reeson. Thunder claps and all your muscles clench as you jump slightly in response.
You hear the door to your room open. You hear him walk toward you and sit on the bed. You feel his arms around you holding you. You hear him whispering in your ear comforting you. You listen to his voice as he attempts to calm you. You cry harder. You hear him so clearly through your sobs. You crave his feel and want his kiss desperately.
You clench the picture tighter and sob. You will never feel him again. Your mind strains to remember what it was like when he held you, when he kissed you. You remember vividly the day he died. Now no one will protect you. Now you sit in a pathetic heap, crying because of the storm and for him. You scream his name, sob it, whisper for it. But he is not there.
Thunder cracks and you clench the picture and scream his name through your sobs...
