Obscure realities

She looked around. It was suspiciously quiet. No sounds of TV, the microwave oven or even her sisters squabbling about something petty. Slowly she rose up from her bed. Yes, indeed she was in her room, but it was different. The whole room was dirty, dusty, completely trashed and raided and messy, as if the room had been abandoned and later re-habited and then destroyed. She could read some of the writings that had been written on the walls. 'Power and Chaos!' 'Zoot be praised and to his followers victory!' 'Technos rule!' 'Death to the Guardian!' "Ebony is a sellout!" She looked at these sentences. She understood the words, but still was not able to understand their meaning. She stared at the last sentence. "What an odd thing to write", she thought.

Suddenly everything went blurry. The whole view blew up into tiny bubbles. The bubbles popped and a new view appeared. That view sharpened quickly.

She was riding in a car. No, she wasn't riding inside a car. She was standing in it, halfway out of it. She was standing through a sunroof. There was someone standing next to her. She looked at him. It was a young man with the weirdest looking eyes she had ever seen. These were not humane eyes. The car stopped. The guy jumped out of it. She opened the door and stepped out of the car. "Power and Chaos!" he yelled. The others repeated. There was a bunch of other kids. She hadn't noticed them before. She would have been Ebony and he would have been Zoot.

"Aah! I can't! I can't!" "Yes, you can!" "Just push!" "Aah! I can't have a baby in this world!" "Yes, you can! We're going to change it, make it better!" "Babies are natural!" "Not in this world they're not!" "Yes, even in this world!" "I can see its head!" Hours later the baby was finally born. They would have been Trudy, Brady, Bray and Salene.

He turned around and suddenly he was somewhere else. He lifted his gaze. The place was filled with smoke and fire. He managed to get out. "Where is she", he heard his body ask. He walked to a red-haired girl and asked the same question again. The redhead turned and pointed. He saw a body of a young girl. "No!" Tears filled his eyes. He ran to her, took her in his arms and le the sorrow fill him. He would have been Lex and she would have been Zandra.

The elements of the world floated. Much good, so much bad. Much happiness and much sorrow. Many laughters, many cries.

In real life as well as in dreams. This would have been a good real thing, but it was something else. It might have been if for not certain event not occurring when they were supposed to.
