Hey guys, it me again. I sat down to write and this just kind of came out on its own. A very different style/type of fanfiction for me than normal but i figured I should post it. I personally think its pretty fluffy and cute. Well, hoe you enjoy, and 'forget to review. Oh and if you want you can send me a single word (pm or review) for me to base a fanfic off of! Well, I'll leave now and let you enjoy the fluff!
"PERCY!" Annabeth screamed for her husband from the living room.
"Oh my gods is it time? Oh god its time. Oh shit, shit, what am I supposed to do?" Percy ran into the room in a panic. He had grabbed the emergency 'when the time comes' bag and was breathing heavily as he looked expectantly at his 8 ½ month pregnant wife who sat calm as ever on the couch watching TLC.
"False alarm." She said nonchalantly. He breathed a sigh of relief. He had been freaking out ever since she hit month 8. Anytime she so much as winced trying to stand up he went into code red panic mode.
To be honest Annabeth, though she loved him dearly, was getting a little sick and tired of Percy's silly antics. They were justifiable of course, but often too extreme.
"Sorry for wigging out its just, I've never been around anyone this far into a pregnancy since Piper and even then I only saw her on the weekends." Percy said, setting the bag back into the chair by the kitchen table.
"It's fine. But you need to calm down. If I'm not freaking out then neither should you." Annabeth responded looking into her husband's eyes.
"I know it's just, this is our first baby and I just want to make sure we do things right. I want her to be as healthy as possible." Annabeth smiled at him. She found it fun to see her normally strong and confident husband freaking out, to a degree. And honestly, though she would never admit it, he was just adorable when he was scrambling around to prepare for the baby.
He seemed to be more into keeping the house child proof than she was. He checked all the child locks on the drawers daily, made sure anything harmful would never be accessible to any child below 5 feet tall.
"Look I know you want the baby to be healthy and safe, but you can't keep freaking out every time I move. I'm pregnant, not glass." She gave him a stern look, crossing her arms and acting in a 'don't test your luck' manner.
Percy grabbed a Gatorade out of the refrigerator and walked over to sit next to his wife.
"I know you're not but still, I've got to worry about keeping both my girls safe now." He grinned at her. She looked up at him and smiled.
How had she gotten so lucky? He was always so great to her, and honestly to everyone around him (except for Octavian in one of his 'I should be praetor' rampages, but then again no one liked Octavian then). She looked into his eyes and saw nothing but care and love.
He'd always been there for her, from the day they met all those years ago, and here she was, here they were, married and expecting a child, a little girl who already had Percy wrapped around her little finger. She leaned up and kissed him.
"I love you so much", she whispered as they pulled away.
"I love you too."
