I don't have to say goodbye

A/N: Ok. I had this in my mind for the past few hours and decided to write it down. Spent most of the writing, crying my heart out… I had to listen to the song many times in order to get the lyrics as close to the real thing. I don't own Rwby or any songs from the series. With that clear, I present my version on how this should end…
The dark hooded figure stood before a metal door. A white light shone brightly through the opening of the door.
"You have only a moment…" The dark figure spoke in a low, monotone voice.
I watches with hesitation as the creaking sound of the door hit my eardrum with a steady rhythm. The light engulfed me with its light that I have to shield my eyes to avoid being blinded by it.
A breath came out from the door. Then a heartbeat. Followed by a dark shadow slowly appearing before me.
"Jaune?"
My heart skips a few beats.
Unable to control my emotions, my lip begins to tremble.
My legs were feeling weak and soft.
My breathing was getting heavier and deeper.
I slowly walked up to the door. I knew that voice. No one else had the sweet, innocent, warmth tone. That sweet smell of autumn flow out of the door filled my life with renew strength.
"AH?!"
I don't know what made me to do what I did but it felt great.
Her warmth was something I needed for a long time. I held her long red hair in my hand and slowly caress to my leisure. She was wondering what to do before letting her head down to my left shoulder and laid in my hug quietly.
Both of us did not say a word.
No need to speak. No need to say anything.
I put her away and stared into her vivid-green eyes and found sadness in them.
She knew…
Her mouth was trying to mumble the words that she want to say.
I stopped her. I knew what she was going to say.
I want her to hear what I want to say to her all this time.
"I never felt that it was wise to wish too much…
To dream too big would only lead to being crushed…"
Her eyes grew wider as my words reached into her heart.
"Then I met you. You weren't afraid of anything…"
I smiled at the memories of our time being together.
"You taught me how to leave the ground. To use my wings."
Tears begins to fall from both of our eyes.
"I never thought a hero would ever come my way…"
With my heart grew heavier, I said the words…
"But more than that… I never thought you'd be taken away…"
Our embrace grew tighter and closer…
"Now it's cold without you here… It's like winter lasts all year…"
With those sentences, she cried loudly on my clothes. I knew that our time was coming to an end as the dark figure walked up to the door.
I knew that I need to tell her my feelings…
"But your star is still in the sky… so I won't say goodbye…"
The dark figure took her hand and brought her back to the door.
I watched as she entered the door.
"I don't have to say goodbye…"
With that, Pyrrha Nikos smiled back at Jaune Arc as she entered the door. Knowing that he understood her decision and love, Pyrrha let her tears flow while Jaune cried non-stop as he waved wildly at her…
A/N: I just wrote in the moment of my sadness. Never felt this way since the passing of my late grandmother… Even though it has been two days, the feeling is still there and will properly disappear with time goes… Hope you readers like it and to those who are still in denial, she's gone… I accept it even though I don't want to believe… And thank you, Monty… Thanks a lot for this epic series…
