It's a Gas, Gas, Gas
Sam had parked up just on the outskirts of Lebanon, Kansas and for last hour had been sitting in the Impala watching the world go by.
He let his hands caress the smooth steering wheel as he thought of all the hours he'd spent in this car. She might be Dean's Baby but she'd always been his home. A safe place, and oftentimes the preferred method of retreat, in the face of overwhelming adversity.
Instinctively he checked the gas gauge; Heaven knows she drank almost as much as his brother.
Perhaps I should fill her up, that might help?
He snorted. He knew he was just delaying the inevitable in the same way he knew not to risk visiting an auto shop without Dean's supervision.
There was no use putting it off, he was going to have to face his brother eventually.
He sighed.
'Scrape' is such an ugly word.
