I'll be here by the ocean
Just waiting for proof that there's sunsets and silhouette dreams
All my sandcastles fall like the ashes of cigarettes
And every wave drags me to sea
I could stand here for hours
Just to ask God the question, "Is everyone here make-believe?"
With a tear in His voice, He said, "Son, that's the question."
Does this deafening silence mean nothing to no one but me?

On the day of Peyton Sawyer's death, rain plummeted from the sky. It was as if the universe, too, was saddened by the loss of such a miraculous human being. And, cluttered in the cemetery grass, those that had loved Peyton dearest: family, friends, mere aquiatences, stood as a black mob against the gray atmosphere. The wind stood still as members of the dark pack delivered heart-felt, tear evoking, speeches to accompany the treasured teenager off into her next life; although, most of all, to display their final feelings for all to see. Though only the brave spoke, for those whom had been struck the hardest were unable to find the words and courage that it took to stand up.
From the Paradise above, the curly-locked teenager looked down as her life before death bid her a final farewell. Upon the soft grasses of Heaven, Peyton Sawyer sat cross-legged, hands in her lap, and beautiful green eyes damp with tears of the deepest sorrow. Although, upon the sight of her own father's emotional breakdown as he stood at the end of her own sealed coffin, the girl stood up from her green seat, unable to bear any more of this night mare, quickly departing from the scene.
"… And, that is the one thing that I never want to forget, even if my mind goes blank and my eyes refuse to serve me any longer, I know that my sweet Peyton's happiness will always be able to be heard through the most joyous of laughter."
