Chapter I: Wizard and Qwaser
~~W.A.Q.~~
"We will not be keeping him, Pet!" shouted a large man with little neck, a small amount of hair, and watery blue eyes. This was Vernon Dursley, wife of Petunia Dursley nee Evans, whom was sister of Lily Potter nee Evans.
"That freak left him here, Vernon! For all we know, they'll be watching us to make sure we keep the brat!" shouted Petunia; she was an extremely thin woman with a long neck and blonde hair who loved to gossip about anything and everything.
"I don't care! I don't want his kind living under my roof! We'll take the little brat to an orphanage or something!"
The two adult Dursleys were currently yelling about a baby they had found on their doorstep this morning when Petunia opened the door to get the daily milk. This baby was about sixteen months old, had a bird's nest of black hair, the most stunning emerald green eyes, and a peculiar scar situated just to the right of the middle of his forehead. This scar was peculiar for one reason; it was shaped like a lightning bolt.
This boy, Harrison 'Harry' James Potter, would be one of the most famous magicals to have ever been born. First off, he had been the one to vanquish the Dark Lord 'Voldemort.' The second, also how he vanquished Voldemort, is that he survived Avada Kedavra, the Killing Curse; a feat that had never happened before. For this, he was given the moniker of 'The Boy-Who-Lived.'
"Fine! But if those damned freaks come here, you will be the one telling them, Vernon!" Petunia shouted as she began to prepare for the day; this included making food for her husband and herself, waking and feeding her son, Dudley, and getting dressed as well as dressing Dudley.
After the two adults were finished, they left their house, got into their car, and drove off to the closest orphanage they knew of.
~~W.A.Q.~~
Harry James Potter awoke to the sounds of a baby crying. Harry was now about 4'8", around average for a boy of eleven years. His black hair now reached just above his eyes, not as much of a raven's nest as it once was, and his emerald eyes seemed to glimmer and shine with power. He sighed as he rose out of his bed at the orphanage he had been found at on 2 November almost ten years ago.
'St. Adelaide's. Adelaide, patron of abuse victims, brides, exiles, in-law problems, parenthood, parents of large families, princesses, prisoners, second marriages, step-parents and widows.'
As he gathered his clothes for his shower, four thin bars of cobalt wrapped themselves around his wrists, two on each wrist and a longer bar wrapped itself around his neck.
'It took me so long to get used to this. Qwaser; someone born with the ability to control one of the elements from the Periodic Table. Also called 'alchemists'; we literally manipulate anything having to do with the element we are capable of controlling.'
As he exited the shower and dried himself off before getting dressed, he heard a knock on his door.
"Give me a second!" he shouted out as he pulled his shirt on before opening the door. As he opened the door, he came face-to-face with a young woman many would consider naturally beautiful. About 5'4" with waist-length black hair and sky blue eyes, she was about twenty-three years old. "What is it, Sister Ana?"
"Mail for you, Harry." The nun brightly smiled as she handed Harrison a letter made of parchment with his name and the orphanage's address in bright green ink.
"Thanks, Ana. I'll take a look at this and be right down."
"Alright, just don't take too long. Savannah is waiting for you so she can head out after you get some Soma."
'Soma. A mix of breast milk and a woman's life energy that gives us Qwaser the ability to use our powers. Run out of Soma, and we die. Drink too much at once from our Maria and they die. Savannah has been my Maria since I was seven. Before that, it was Sister Marie, who passed away a little while after my seventh birthday. Maria is just the title for those who give Qwaser Soma, named after the mother of Jesus Christ.'
"'Kay. Thanks again, Ana, and let Savannah know I'll be down in ten or fifteen minutes."
"Will do, Harry, and your welcome." Ana stated as she turned to walk back down the hall and stairs.
As Harry looked down at the letter in his hand, his eyes slightly widened as a small smile crawled its way onto his face. The envelope bore upon it a coat of arms with a lion on a red and gold background on the upper left, a snake on a green and silver background on the upper right, a badger on a yellow and black background on the lower left, a raven with a blue and copper background on the lower right, and a golden 'H' in the center of the whole thing.

"Huh. Forgot today was my birthday. Oh well." Harry stated as he opened the envelope. As he opened it, he pulled out a piece of parchment- 'Wizards and their stupid traditional ways'- and began to read.
HOGWARTS SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY
Headmaster: Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock, Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. Of Wizards)
Dear Mr. Potter,
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall
Deputy Headmistress
"Really? We await your owl by no later than 31 July? When that's today, and the owl already left?! Bloody wonderful! Oh well, not like they'll just not come find me if I don't write or anything. Honestly, have magicals no common sense..." Harry complained before simply sighing and leaving the letter lying on his bed. He didn't want to piss Savannah off and make her leave, after all. She only allowed him to drink Soma from her once a week or so, and he did not want to have Soma withdrawal. He shuddered at the stories he still remembered hearing about people it had happened to. He honestly wished he had never even heard those damned stories, they could scar any Qwaser for life.
He sighed as he began the trek downstairs as he heard kids playing and running around. That is, until he came to his best friend, Lisa. She had been at the orphanage just about as long as he had, and they had been close since they were little. Lisa stood around 4'2" with shoulder-length mousy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Nothing really different about her, unlike Harry, what with his peculiar scar and control over the element cobalt.
"Hey, Lisa." he stated from behind the girl. She spun around with a small scream before slamming into Harry with a hug that seemed to almost crush bones.
"Happy birthday, Harry! Come on! Ana made your favorite, and Sister Savannah is waiting for you in the dining room!" Lisa shouted as she began to drag Harry off to said room.
"Honestly, Lisa, can you not drag me everywhere? I have two perfectly fine feet!"
"Hush, you, and get over it! If I don't drag you everywhere, you would take ten minutes to take two steps!" Lisa reprimanded the Qwaser and Wizard boy.
"Well, I'm sorry I only put effort in when things motivate me. Honestly, how can you expect shopping for clothes to motivate me! If it's comfortable, I'll wear it." Harrison whined as he was dragged through multiple rooms.
"If you could, you would wear pajamas all day, every day, Harry. And that is all laziness." Ana stated as the two preteens came into the dining room, which held multiple tables that could sit up to six, a good thing considering St. Adelaide's had nearly thirty kids and six nuns.
"Alright, Harrison, come here and hurry it up. I need to be going today." Savannah, an uptight woman of about twenty-one with a generous C-cup bust, dirty-blonde hair and dark blue eyes about 5'2", stated as she undid the top buttons of her blouse and lowered her bra, so that Harry could get Soma and she could leave.
After finishing, Harry thanked Savannah and she left to do what needed to be done outside of the orphanage for the day.
"So, what was that letter, Harry?" Ana questioned as they began to eat their breakfast.
"My letter from Hogwarts. Of course, magicals have no common sense though, so I have no way to send a reply. I'll just have to wait for them to send someone to find me." Harry stated before taking another bite of his food.
"I'll miss you. I mean, you get to go off to this big magical school, while I'll be stuck here helping around." Lisa whined as Ana gave her a light smack to the head.
"Well, hey, I'll write every week, and if I can find a way, I'll sneak into the town outside of school and send everyone some stuff, 'kay, Lisa?"
"You better, or else I'll kick your butt, mister!" Lisa claimed as she stood up and rapped Harrison on the head. This earned her a light smack to the head, which eventually broke down into a light-hitting fight between the two before Ana smacked them both on the back of the head as some of the younger kids laughed.
"Behave, children, or else you'll be stuck helping me all day. And I just may make you two clean the bathrooms!" While, normally, they knew this wouldn't happen, especially on Harry's birthday, Ana, despite being the very nice woman she was, enjoyed doing things just to spite some of the children at the orphanage sometimes.
~~W.A.Q.~~
It had been about a week since Harrison's birthday, and things went normally, as in there were small scuffles between kids every day, Harrison worked on his abilities to control cobalt, among other things that usually went on around St. Adelaide's. Everyone was having breakfast, in Harry's case Soma, when a knock was heard on the door.
"I'll get that." one of the other nuns that ran the orphanage stated as she stood up to walk to the door, seeing as she was the closest to the front room from the large dining room. As she came back to the dining room a few minutes later, a man in black robes with a sallow face, hooked nose, and greasy black hair walked in behind her. "Harrison, someone for you." she called as she pointed the man towards Harry, who then led himself and the sallow-looking man into a different room, one of the sitting rooms, with Savannah following.
"Hello, Mr. Potter. I am Severus Snape, the Potions Master at Hogwarts. Headmaster Dumbledore has sent me to come to you seeing as we had not gotten a reply from you." he stated in a somewhat sour voice as he stared upon the boy who had pulled himself away from his breakfast and favorite meal, also known as Soma.
Harry felt an odd vibe from the man, and a short spike of pain inside of his scar for a second as he looked up at the man.
"Hello, Professor Snape. The reason I had not replied was that the owl that delivered my letter had already left, and, seeing as I do not own my own owl, I could not reply."
"I see. Perhaps we should fix that, that is if you are planning to attend Hogwarts, Mr. Potter." Snape stated as he looked down at the son of James Potter and Lily Evans, with perhaps a hint of regret in his eyes at the son of his nemesis and love of his life.
"I am, Professor. I had simply decided I would wait for someone from the school to show up, seeing as I do not know where any magical shops, or any magical place for that matter, are." Harrison stated.
"Very well, Mr. Potter. Shall we head to Diagon Alley, then? It is Magical England's shopping district."
Snape stated as he eyed the woman standing next to The Boy-Who-Lived.
"Is that alright, Savannah?" Harrison questioned as he turned to his, although Snape was unaware, Maria.
"That will be fine, Harrison. Make sure you are back before supper time, however." Savannah stated as she patted Harrison on the head before continuing. "We'll finish up tonight, and I will contact Father William to let him know." While Snape may not knew what this meant, Harrison was well aware it meant having Father William contact Athos, the group that led Qwaser that weren't heretics, and see what they would do about a Maria for him at Hogwarts, seeing as Muggles weren't allowed.
"Thank you, Savannah. I'll see you tonight." Harry stated as he led the Potions Master and former Death Eater outside, where Snape would lead him to Diagon Alley.
~~W.A.Q.~~
"This, Mr. Potter, is The Leaky Cauldron. It serves as the entrance to Diagon Alley. I would recommend you keep your head down, however, as you are very famous in our world." Snape stated as he and Harrison now stood outside of a somewhat run-down pub in London.
"May I ask why I am famous, Professor?" Harry questioned. Despite already knowing, he felt it would be best if he didn't let on about his knowledge.
"I shall tell you later, Mr. Potter, just make sure to keep your head down or at least cover the scar on your forehead." Snape stated as he opened the door to the dark and dank pub and began to lead Harrison to the back, and out a door which lead into a small enclosure. "Diagon Alley is just through here, and you must tap a certain brick, which is this one." Snape explained as he tapped a brick to the right and above a trash can that sat there. This caused the wall to split in two and begin to fold away, allowing the two to look upon the Magical Alley.
Children were running around, some stood in front of a display that held a broomstick, others carried pets such as toads, cats, and owls, and Harrison could have sworn he even saw a snake or two, among other pets. As he looked around, the buildings that stood out the most were Magical Menagerie, Flourish and Blotts, and a large, white stone building in which Harrison could sense much cobalt.
"We shall head to Gringotts first, Mr. Potter. That is the Magical Bank, which is connected to a Muggle Bank that I cannot recall the name of right now. The money left to you by your parents will be there, within a vault, which I will give you your key to after we have gotten there. Then, we shall get your robes, books and equipment, and finally a wand. I will allow you to look around after that for a little while, and then perhaps some lunch if you are feeling hungry. I believe that is acceptable." Snape questioned as he led Harrison down the road, past many shops, one where Harrison felt a slight pull that he brought up.
"Professor, I just felt a slight pull from the Magical Menagerie. What is that?"
"That, Mr. Potter, would be a potential familiar bond. That means your magic is quite powerful already, as not many people are capable of a familiar bond before Magical Maturation, and even then not all Mature Magicals are capable of it. Many call a regular pet a familiar, but that is not in actuality the case. So, let us head there first, and then to the bank. I shall pay for you here, and you may pay me back after we head to Gringotts." Snape claimed as he led Harrison into the pet shop.
On the inside, Magical Menagerie was dark and smelled, with many types of animals, including cats, toads and snakes. As they walked in, however, a small canine ran up to Harrison and yipped at him.
"Hullo, little one. Aren't you hyper?" Harry talked to the small canine as he knelt as said canine ran around him. The canine had long, silverish fur with black spots and violet eyes.
"That, Mr. Potter, is a Twilight Wolf. They are said to have been blessed by a god because they are much stronger at night. They are in actuality great fighters and very loyal to their owners." Snape explained as the shop owner walked up.
"Ah, a Twilight Wolf then, kid? Nice animals, rarer than most other pets, but nice all the same. I never really understood why most people avoid them..." the owner trailed off for a minute before picking back up. "Well, that'll be ten Galleons for the wolf, and then five Galleons for a ten-kilogram bag of food, and two for a bed, if you want one. So, seventeen in all if you want the bed, fifteen if you don't."
Harrison realized that was at least a somewhat generous sum of money by the way Snape's eyes just barely widened, before he fished out a money purse and poured seventeen into the man's hand.
As they walked out of the store after getting the food and bed, which Snape had shrunk and stuck in a pocket for now, Harry carried his new potential familiar.
"Now, Mr. Potter, as I'm sure you know, only cats, toads, and owls are allowed; or so the rules say. There are, however, exceptions, this being one, however rare. A potential familiar is always allowed at Hogwarts, so you need not worry, your wolf will be allowed." Snape began to explain as the unlikely duo made their way to Gringotts.
"Now, there are special side effects that come with having a familiar. One being the ability to communicate with your familiar once the bond has formed. This communication is telepathic, however you can understand their regular speech, your wolf's being yipping and barking."
"How far does the telepathy work, sir?" questioned Harrison as he stroked the wolf cub.
"No one is one hundred percent sure, as it is a bad idea for a magical to stay away from their familiar for over a few hours, especially when the bond is forming. That is why I shall inform the staff of your potential bond, so that they know you should have your wolf with you during classes, Mr. Potter. The reason for this is that most bonds take a few years to fully form, so, if your bond with your wolf does begin to form, it will likely finish around the time you are thirteen or fourteen, I'd wager.
"We will finish this conversation later, however, as we must now get you enough money to last you this upcoming term, and some so that you may owl order anything you may need, such as food for the wolf, or maybe a book you would like to keep." Snape explained as the duo entered the bank, where Harrison saw a poem written on the wall of the bank, where the doors were flanked by two short gremlin-like things in full battle regalia.
Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.
"Goblins, Mr. Potter. They are the caretakers of Magical money, and a warrior race. You would be wise not to anger them, unlike some wizards or witches I've seen."
The inside of the bank had the center framed by two extremely long tables for the bank tellers, with a few hallways leading out, what looked like an entrance to underground at the back, and a large desk in front of that. As Harrison looked around, he saw a platinum-blonde haired man sneering at and attempting to command one of the goblin tellers to hurry it up, making the goblin just go slower.
"Why would you anger the people that watch your money anyways? That just spells trouble." Harry stated in response to Snape as they came to a teller.
"Mr. Potter here would like to make a withdrawal, Master Teller."
"And does Mr. Potter have his key?" the goblin questioned in response with a slight sneer, though less than when the duo first stepped up.
'Most likely from the respect Professor Snape is showing him.'
"I have it here. Just a moment, Master Teller." Snape informed as he reached into his black robe and pulled out a metal key that Harrison could sense cobalt inside of.
'Heh, if I actually ever needed to, I could just manipulate my key into someone else's. Fun way to get back at somebody, but something I would most likely never do, unless they were a total jackass and deserved it.'
"Very well, then. This is the key. Griphook! Take Master Potter and his guest here to Vault 687! And treat them well, they show respect." the teller shouted, and then lowly stated the last sentence, to a shorter goblin who came running up.
"Yes, Teller, sir. Right this way, Master Potter, Master Snape." Griphook stated as he led Harrison and Severus to the back of the hall and into a mine cart. After a long ride and filling a bag up with each type of coin; Knuts, Sickles, and Galleons, Harrison and Severus made their way out of the bank and back into Diagon Alley.
~~W.A.Q.~~
"This is Flourish and Blotts, Mr. Potter. The place for most of your literary needs. You will, however, find a much nicer collection in the Hogwarts library. So, we shall gather the books that are necessary first, and then I will allow you to look around for a little while, see if anything catches your eye if you wish to." Snape explained as he and the boy entered the store.
As Harrison looked around, he saw that there were shelves upon shelves that stacked up to the ceiling full of books, with different categories. It was as he was looking around at the nonfiction area, however, that he began to freak out.
"What the bloody hell!? Why the hell are there books about me?!" he nearly shouted before Snape shushed him.
"Quiet, Mr. Potter! I knew there was something that I forgot... this is just a way for the Ministry of Magic dunderheads to make money. If you wish it, I can shall help you to find a lawyer or someway to get rid of this, seeing as you never gave permission for this."
"Is there anything else that uses my name?" Harrison questioned, with a gleam in his eye, to who he now viewed as a mentor in the Magical world. And it was as he asked this, that Snape fully realized this wasn't just the son of James Potter. No, that man would be too happy to have a book series about him. In front of him was the son of Lily Evans, the woman who would freak out at first, and then get back someway, somehow. The woman who, despite being a Gryffindor, had quite a few Slytherin tendencies.
"There are actually quite a few, Mr. Potter. Foolish of them, as, if you truly wish to, you could become quite richer than you already are off of them. The Potter's are an old magical family, Harrison, and are quite wealthy at that. They aren't like other 'pureblood' families though, in that they like to bring in fresh blood and magic in the form of Muggleborns and Halfbloods. As such, their magic is quite stronger than that of some pureblood families who marry some close family to keep their lines 'pure', which begins to poison some bloodlines. There are many things you can learn from any of the teachers, Mr. Potter, and you but only need ask."
~~W.A.Q.~~
Alright, so that is the first chapter to my new story. Now, there are a couple things I need to talk about. First off, Snape, while he won't be Mr. Perfect, will not be a total dickhead like he was in canon. Here, he has spent time with Harry, however willingly, and that has allowed him to see the son of Lily Evans as well, not just the son of James Potter. So, he will be somewhat of a mentor to Harrison, along with Dumbledore, and Sirius and Remus eventually. Secondly, the harem will be nine (9) girls and they are already decided. Also, a few ages have been slightly altered to fit this, such as Tonks, who will be five years older than Harrison, making it her sixth year his first.
The harem is: Katie Bell (currently 12), Nymphadora Tonks (currently 16), Daphne Greengrass (currently 11), Penelope Clearwater (currently 15), Susan Bones (currently 11), Luna Lovegood (currently 10), Tracey Davis (currently 11), Fleur Delacour (currently 14) and Astoria Greengrass (currently 9).
Also, Harrison will still have Hedwig, no worries. I could never get rid of the epically awesome snowy owl. However, I need help with a name for the Twilight Wolf, which is also female like Hedwig.
