When Donatello decides to take his brother's advice and "live a little," he stumbles across a mob gang drowning a snitch. After nearly getting drowned himself for being a "witness," the right hand man, Raphael Kappa, recognizes him as the tech genuis and convinces his boss to ransom Donnie. The boss agrees, only on the condition that Raphael nurses the hostage back to health and takes care of him until the ransom has been paid or terminated.
