Good to Be Home: Athena grl Huntress
A/N: Hello! So, I've decided that occasionally, I'll just give out one-shots to really awesome reviewers! This one is for Athena grl Huntress, and kinda turned out as a drabble.

Percy PoV-
I walked into my mom's apartment building. It'd almost been a year since I'd last seen it, but it looked the same.
We had won the Giant War, and for now, all was well. I hadn't seen my mom since leaving for Camp Half-Blood for Winter Break. Sure, we Iris Messaged, but it wasn't the same.
The Argo II landed at camp that morning, and I immediately drove into the city alone. Annabeth had offered to go with me, but I needed to see her alone.
Lost in my thoughts, my feet carried me to that familiar door. I twisted the knob, it was unlocked.
"Mom?" I called.
I stepped into the hallway of the apartment I'd lived in for the past couple of years, breathing in the smell of my mother; cookies, and that perfume she's always worn.
She stepped through the doorway of her bedroom, her eyes widening at the sight of me.
My footsteps quickened as I made my way to her, her arms wrapping around my shoulders. Her hair had gotten grayer, probably from all the stress I'd caused her.
I didn't realize how much I missed her.

After the emotion-fest, we sat down at the kitchen table, and just talked.
She didn't like the tatoo on my arm, the symbol of the legion. I can't say I blame her.
All I know, is that it's good to be home.
A/N: Sorry. That ended up being a drabble. Yours in demigodishness and all that. Peace out.
