No, your eyes do not deceive you.
Yes, I am alive.
And doing well, I suppose, but I must say, I now understand why everyone says your junior year of high school is the hardest.
In any case, I was able to break away from this case of writer's block that I've had for... a few years now. Wow, the last I published something was back in December 2007. Almost a year now.
Well, don't expect me to write much anymore. I'm more focused on my art now; it's become even more important to me than ever.
I might pop up every now and then...
I do still visit the site though. I just lurk.
Ok, enough of my babbling... Here's a drabble (oh shock! Horror! Not a real story!) to entertain y'all.
...BTW: The Gash Bell section on here sucks now hahahaha.
Coming from someone who's been here since the beginning of this section on FFnet, btw. Don't yell at me 'cause it's the truth.
Disclaimer: I do not own Konjiki no Gash Bell and I never will. It belongs to genius Makoto Raiku, thanks.

Demons collect in numbers.
Demons do not always fight in numbers.
This war is greater than anything anyone will realize, from the beginning to end.
The strongest of the creatures lure in unsuspecting, or suspecting, victims with the sweet promise of a taste of real power. Others sense this and flee while they still can, only to be out of luck in the end and defeated. That is not always the case, however. The weak do survive.
Demons collect in numbers.
Demons sometimes flee in numbers.
Not everyone is the strongest, or at least in the beginning. Sometimes instinct takes over and all one can do is run—run from the daunting forces that follow them to the very end.
Or perhaps, run from the ones that wait for the end.
Demons collect in numbers.
Demons might even fight in numbers.
There is always one that is the strongest of them all, either by luck, nature, or hard training, or all of the above. The strongest inspire the most fear in the weak, and naturally, the weak run. Sometimes the weak do not run, however, but instead group together and fight.
Teamwork. Sometimes demons do teamwork.
Demons collect in numbers.
Demons might even become friends.
Everyone wants to belong, whether they realize it or not. The weak band together and become one team, a true team, and look out for those that are in it. Sometimes the "weak" are not so weak after all, and as they become one, they transform into the strongest force of all.
All one must do is thank the power of the heart.
Demons collect in numbers.
Demons do, as I have now come to the conclusion, possess a heart.
