Maxine Gilbert is Johnathan Gilbert's daughter. When he found out she was a vampire, he put her in the tomb with the other vampires. When Stefan and Damon open the tomb, expecting to find Katherine, Stefan finds Maxine, instead. She helps them find Katherine.
