He wishes people would change. He and his friends have finally convinced people jocks can dance and dancers can throw a mean bat. His people have felt more ugly prejudice than any other, and sometimes, he's afraid it will never stop. The world is full of many colors, but outsiders can't see the beauty of the rainbow for its bright shock of colors against their normal, dull skies. Chad does see it, though, and finally, he caves, drawing Ryan in for a deep, sweet kiss after another successful home run and letting their world gasp at their true, beautiful colors.
