Hey there everyone! Happy April Fool's day decided to write another story for you today with the help of two of my friends. We all came up with the ideas then I put everything together. We hope you enjoy!

"Natsu" Happy said to the pink haired mage as he watched him fill a bucket of water.

"What is it Happy?" Natsu asked as he lifted the bucket out of the sink.

"Do you think this will work? I think Lucy will get mad" Happy told him. Natsu glanced back at his friend with a grin plastered to his face.

"It's April Fool's, she'll probably laugh this off" Natsu answered. "She won't get mad". Happy didn't look too sure but he still followed Natsu as he left the house and moved toward Lucy's apartment. As they walked in her home's direction they could hear the laughter and good cheer from multiple people who were being pranked on. One woman to their right opened a ring box to find piece of candy and a guy to the left was about to sit down but obviously didn't notice the whoopee cushion. Natsu let out a laugh under his breath as the farting sound was heard. The guy looked at the cushion and let out a bark of laughter before he blew it back up and set it on the chair next to him. All in all the day seemed to be going well for everyone around him and Natsu couldn't wait to get Lucy with his prank. It was very classic, his prank. He was going to balance his bucket of water above the door and tie a string to the door knob and when Lucy opened the door it would fall on her and drench her in water. With a mischievous grin Natsu moved quickly to his destination to set up.

When he arrived, all was quiet. With Happy's help Natsu set the bucket above the door and tied the string to the door knob on the outside part and took a step back to look at their handy work. Satisfied that the door would indeed tip the bucket Natsu got Happy to take him up to Lucy's room. When they got to her window Natsu tapped on the glass before sliding it up and crawling in. Happy landed on Lucy's bed and looked around. They could both hear the sounds of Lucy coming from the bathroom so Natsu also sat on Lucy's bed and waited for her to finish. He had learned his lesson last time not to go into the bathroom when Lucy was in there because she would hit him.

Beginning to grow impatient in his excitement Natsu stood up and began wandering around the room. He went over to her desk and noticed her book was nowhere to be seen so he assumed she must have hidden it. However on her desk was a sheet of paper that had writing on it. Looking closer Natsu could see that it was a too do list. Curious he began ready down the list and laughed at what she had written.

Lucy seemed to be very organised for the day and Natsu wondered who it was Lucy wanted to play the prank on. He also wondered what prank she would use. As he turned to go back to the bed he heard the bathroom door open and he looked over to see Lucy fully dressed. As she glanced up at him she smiled.

"Good morning Natsu, Happy" Lucy said cheerfully. Happy got up from his spot on her bed and moved toward her.

"You seem cheerful today Lucy, did something good happen?" he asked. Lucy shook her head.

"No nothing has happened , I just feel like it's going to be a good day today" she told him.

Because you have something planned for someone, Natsu thought to himself.

"Are you heading to the guild Luce?" Natsu asked.

"Maybe in a little while, I want to go to the library for a little bit" she told him as she put together a small bag to take with her. Natsu thought this over and decided that she was still going out so the bucket would still fall. He tried to hide a grin and moved toward the door as she led the way. Happy followed behind them both and they moved toward the front of the apartment building. Natsu held back a laugh as Lucy began to open the door. However when her hand reached the door knob she stopped moving.

"Wait a minute. Why didn't you two just leave through the window like you always do?" Lucy asked, suspicion in her voice. Natsu looked at her for a second before answering.

"You're always saying I should use the door and not the window" he answered. Lucy raised an eyebrow.

"So now you listen to me?" she asked, Still skeptical. Natsu shrugged and Lucy let out a sigh before she turned the knob and stepped out into the day. Natsu waited for the bucket to fall and drench her with water. He waited, and waited. Nothing happened. Confused Natsu moved under the door just as the bucket finally decided to fall. Natsu couldn't get out of the way quick enough and the bucket fell right over top of his head. Water cascaded down his face onto his scarf and clothes, soaking him to the skin. As he lifted the bucket over his head he could hear Happy laughing behind him. His paws covered his mouth as he laughed in amusement. Natsu then turned to look at Lucy and could see her barely holding back her own laughter. Finally it sunk in that his own prank got him instead of it's intended target. He felt his lips curl up into a smile before he felt his own laughter rising in his throat. Seeing his face Lucy finally let her laugh out and stood there along with Natsu as they both roared with laughter. It seemed so appropriate that Natsu's own prank would wind up getting himself. When they were all finally able to stop laughing and take deep breaths Lucy turned to Natsu with a large smile on her face.

"Looks like I don't have to go to the library after all" she told him. That's when Natsu clued in. The person she was going to prank had been him. This made him laugh again as he moved toward Lucy. noticing what he was about to do Lucy began to back away, hands in front of her and shaking her head.

"Oh no you don't" she told him before letting out a small squeal of laughter as he grabbed her wrist and dragged her against him. His wet clothes that had only begun to dry began to soak her clothes as well.

"Natsu let me go! You're all wet" she yelled at him, her voice muffled by his scarf. She was still laughing which made Natsu grin. She finally managed to pull away from him and looked down at her clothes.

"Now I need to change again" she told him. Natsu shook his head.

"No you don't I can dry them for you" he said. Lucy shook her head again.

"Oh no, I still remember what happened the last time I let you dry my clothes" she said. Natsu gave her a confused stare.

"It wasn't that bad" he said. Lucy felt her jaw go slack.

"You burned my clothes to a crisp!" she said with empathise.

"Okay so it was that bad. I'll do better this time. I won't burn them, I promise" he said. Lucy shook her head.

"No thanks" she told him as she turned to walk back into the apartment building. Before she entered she turned her head back.

"Happy April Fools day Natsu" she said with a laugh in her voice.

"Happy April Fools Luce" he replied also with a laugh evidence in his voice.
