Dream of You

This is just an ickle poem I wrote after being inspired by Chain of Memories, which was oh so tragic I had to write a sappy poem of it.

Well, this is a weird way to make a comeback, I think! I haven't written anything in ages and here I am with poetry! But I feel renewed, and am ready to try all this again ( hoping people are nicer this time around ).

Anyways, this was written after playing KH:CoM, and it's from Sora to Riku ( but if you prefer, Sora to Namine or whoever you wish ).

Dream of You by Chelsea ( your Happy Little Bumble-bee )

I close my eyes under the sky:
A tragedy of the stars
To be crashing into the setting sun
And falling into an ocean of crimson;

The musical notes form a dissonance
In my spirit,
Distorting my heartbeat
To play like a broken musicbox,
Repeating the same twisted song;

The swirling mist envelopes
And I disappear.
The rain pours, the freezing drops,
And I drown.

My blood is black with longing,
And there is no antidote to save me.
Only the sound of your heart beating
That does not die
As the moon rises;

And I heard it.

The music in your eyes,
The sound of you echoing in my thoughts;

And I see you.

The flower stretches toward the sun,
And I feel the warmth of you,
Your hand almost in mine

I open my eyes..

You are gone.
I feel the world around me
Fall into place,
And the memories linger
-To be reconstructed.

But you fade from me;
You will be forgotten..
But you never will be lost.

Still you are gone
And I am forced to go on,
A dream of you in a world without you.
