The phone lit up, playing the beginning notes of the Mario theme song. Matt looked up from his GameBoy (and no, I don't mean some odd version of Mello), picking up the red cellular device. A text message from Mello. Nothing surprising, the two texted each other like teenage girls.

ChocolateLover: 'Slow day at work, could you pick up some chocolate and cereal later?'

'Yep.' Matt texted back. 'Milk too?'

ChocolateLover: 'Yeah. Thanks.'

Setting the phone down and returning his gaze back to his game, Matt leaned back in his chair, allowing it to squeak. The place was a rundown mess. Not that it mattered, it was a roof over their heads and a place to game. Speaking of gaming, Matt gave his little 'victory dance' as he beat his high score.

Gamer4Life: 'Hey Mells, guess who just his high score on that new game?! 8.8'

ChocolateLover: 'Yeah. Thanks.'

ChocolateLover: '... I have no itea wgh. It sfettnc again'

Matt blinked. Maybe this was some kind of 'text lingo' he hadn't heard of yet?

Gamer4Life:'... what?'

ChocolateLover: 'Congrats, Matt. Maybe with all that effort you could get an actual job...

Poor Bowser... Hope you didn't kill 'em.

Also I'm having technical difficulties.'

Gamer4Life: 'I see. XD'
