Merlin: Betrayal for nothing.
Merlin stared out his window, looking at the markets, dull grey clouds. He knew it, he couldn't hide it anymore, he knew he loved Gwen, a servant like him.

Arthur, lying in the bathtub naked, thinking about the smiles on Gwen's face. Of course his father would never allow that, His son was in love with a servant. But he couldn't do it, he knew Morgana loves him, and his father is hoping Morgana and his son get together, but Arthur couldn't do it, his heart fell for someone else, Gwen.
"Merlin, you going to the Camelot Kingdom Ball?" Arthur asked Merlin. "Sure, but do we need a 'date?" Merlin said anxiously.
Arthur sighed, he couldn't be bothered answering, he was sure Merlin knew what a 'ball' is. Gwen appeared in front of Arthur's door. "Good morning Sire" said Gwen. Arthur turned around surprisingly. "Oh umm yes, of course, er… good morning to you!
. Gwen replied" yes, good I shall go now, get ready for my ball dress for tomorrow night. When Merlin and Arthur heard the word 'ball' they both felt relaxed. Gwen smiled hen turned around and left. Arthur turned around to face Merlin. "Merlin, I need to tell you something im in love with gwen!" Arthur said quickly like he was holding a bomb and saying his last words. Merlin answered" but shes a servant like me" Arthur hit merlin on the head. "So Merlin, fancying anyone?"
"I LOVE GWEN" merlin said as if he didn't say anything at all. Arthur shuddered. "But I just said I love her!" Arthur quarrelled back. Merlin sighed and turned around and quickly murmured" well shes my date to the ball" Arthur heard and opened his mouth wide and said" MERLIN! Not unless I get her first. Merlin ran down the stairs, with Arthur chasing was standing right in front of them, when they reached the bottom of the stairs. "GWEN!" merlin shouted. He got nearer to her until Arthur shoved him down and shouted GWEN's name. "Be my date to the –"ball?" gwen said. Arthur nodded and smiled, he then suddenly kissed her on the lips. Merlin had tears running down his face. "Y-y-yes" Gwen said. Arthur held Gwens hand and guided her outside, and Merlin however, was on the floor sobbing like a baby.
It was the night of the ball. It was elegant, Uther siting on the throne, he saw Arthur and Gwen together, but didn't mind(he was drunk). Merlin stood motionless by the edge of the arch window staring at the Camelot couple. He could hear Gwen laughing at Arthurs got drunk and Arthur got drunk as well. Then, Arthur lead Gwen into his room,locked the door and went under the blankets. Gwen took his shirt off and………..-

"Aarghghghghghgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gwen shouted. She was pregnant! But who could be the father, She couldn't believe it! She hasn't done 'it' with anyone. Then in her mind she said "oh no, nah nah, never never!!" Arthur. She went straight to tell him. Scared but feeling brave. She knocked on his door. He opened it and said" Morgana isn't here, she comes to visit ony two times a day now" Gwen was surprised that Arthur wasn't surprised and happy to see her like before. He seemed so happy, not knowing, she could not tell him, never will.
