Harry couldn't help but roll his eyes as he walked into the lab and spotted someone sitting at his desk immersed in her work. Walking over behind her he crouched down and looked over her shoulder without her even noticing he was there, her long blonde hair touched the table in front of her where she was bending over the table so much trying to figure her work out and her tongue was poking out of her mouth as she did so.
"You're just like your mother" he told her and his six year old daughter jumped and turned to him with a shocked look on her face, her dark brown eyes staring at him in surprise.
"Daddy you scared me" she giggled as Harry leant down and pressed a kiss onto her cheek "I didn't hear you"
"Ah I should have become a spy then" Harry replied almost seriously and Emery laughed and shook her head "What are you doing?"
"Maths" Emery made a face and turned back to her work "How am I like mummy?"
"Well you two seem to have a liking to my desk" Harry explained as he looked up and gave Nikki a smile when she walked into the room "Mummy kept using my desk when she first started working here and even though she has her own desk now she still uses mine sometimes"
"Why?" Emery asked as she put her pencil down on the table and Harry just shrugged and grinned at Nikki who had sat at her desk
"I can't even pretend to understand mummy sometimes"
Nikki poked her tongue out at her husband who pouted slightly and turned back to their daughter when she held her pencil up for him to take.
"Please help me daddy?" she asked and gave him the look she knew would get her anything from Harry "I can't do it"
"Of course I'll help you princess" her father told her and took the pencil from her hand and looked down at the homework on the table wondering when his little baby girl had grown up.
This was enspired by nakcyrk's video 'Harry & Nikki: the beginning' on youtube..watch all the videos if you haven't they are amazing...anyway it struck me that there is a running theme of Nikki using Harry's desk when her desk is perfectly capable of being used..yeah..so this popped into my head. XD
