"But what are we naming him?" Kurt questioned Blaine. After days of thinking and talking, The two have finally agreed on adopting a baby boy.
"How about Barney? as in Barney Stinson or like Barney The Dinosaur?" Blaine said, eyes shining with excitement.
"We're naming our son after a player and a purple dinosaur who sings and dances?" Kurt laughed.
"Well, both WERE my two favorite shows growing up!" Blaine defended, laughing too.
"How about Marc? You know… like Marc Jacobs?" Kurt said. dreamily
"So wait, you don't want him to be named after a dinosaur but you want him to be named after a bag?" Blaine questioned
"It does kinda sound silly, especially when it's being spelled like that." The taller boy chuckled.
"Well, not real-" Blaine tried to say
"What if we name him Alexander! you know…as in.. McQueen!" Kurt all but shouted. He was getting really psyched about all this naming now.
"Or! or Gregory! like Gregory Maguire! The author of my favorite musical of all time!" Kurt said, practically jumping off the bed.
It was usually Blaine who would act like this, but instead the shorter boy sat there watching his husband get so overly excited, he couldn't help the smile that threatenied to break out of his face.
"How about Neil? or Patrick? or Harris!" Kurt said.
"or Augustin! Like Augustin Magaldi from Evita!" he continued.
"How about Zac? cause you know how much we love Zac Efron!" Kurt said like a 5 year old, jumping up and down before realizing Blaine hadn't said much and climbing back on the bed.
"Blaine? Hello? Answer me! I can't decide! This name needs to be perfect I tell you! Perfect!" Kurt exclaimed, going back to his spot next to Blaine, trying to snap him back to reality.
Blaine placed his hands over Kurt's, catching his eyes. Locking his own on those electric blue eyes, he said "Kurt."
"What?"
"Kurt. We should name him Kurt." Blaine simply stated.
"Wha- but why?" Kurt furrowed his eyebrows. He was obviously confused.
"…cause you said you wanted the name to be perfect."
