It was just another normal day down at La Push.
Jake and I were secretly out riding our motorbikes and Charlie and Billy had gone fishing. We were just riding around the reserve and for once I hadn't fallen off. We were on our way back to the house when Jake suddenly swerved to the left and into a huge tree.
He was on the ground. He wasn't moving. I didn't know what to do.
So I called out for Sam, hoping he would hear me. He did and so did Paul.
They came racing towards us when they saw Jake in a heap on the ground.
'What should we do with him?' shouted Paul.
'We can't just leave him to recover, some of his bones look out of place.' Sam said urgently.
'The hospital?' I cried desperately.
'Come on Bella, with his body temperature so high he should be dead! what will they say when he turns up?' Paul shouted.
'Sorry! do u have a better idea?!' I screamed into his face.
'Bella is right Paul, we need to get him to a hospital. I don't want to have to do it but it's our last hope.' Sam said, as if he were in agony for thinking of it.
We had no choice but to take him to Murbah Hospital.
I shuddered at the thought.

We eventually pulled up at the hospital and Paul and Sam got him out of the car.
'Shield you eyes!'Sam yelled.
We all closed our eyes until we reached the cardboard door where two people pick up and pulled the carboard out of the way. Were they trying to be automatic doors?

'We need help. He was in an accident. Some of his bones are healing wrong.' Paul said.
As the nurse felt Jacobs forehead she let out a cry.' oh my he has the highest temperature ive ever known!!'
We all shrugged and hoped she would drop it and just help him.
The doctor came over and took him towards a cardboard box that was on the floor.
He too felt his forehead, only his reaction was different.
'Oh yes!! His temperature is soo high! We can use him as the heater while he is here!!' he cried with enthusiasm.
The cardboard box smelt like a giant poot but I wasn't going to complain.

While Jake recovered, which was happening very rapidly, I had a look around.
There were no windows. The only things on the wall were pictures drawn by dying children. I didn't want to be mean but it looked like the shit I did this morning.

I got quite thirsty and so I asked a nurse were i could find a drink. She said the fridge in the corner.
Only, there was no fridge, just an esky. I opened it up and all of a sudden there was this brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise. I looked behind the esky to see one of the nurses crouched there. Wow, this place was weird. But the next thing I know she shone a torch in there. This was certainly weird.

Jake finally recovered and on our way out I enjoyed a nice sausage sizzle.
It had a very distinct taste, quite like when I cupcake my poots. I went back for seconds and thirds.
We got Jake home and later that day Sam told me what the sausages were made out of- turds.
I was quite disgusted but I decided to make some homemade ones later that night.
