First thing I wrote!
I was writing this as Angela POV, but you can think about this as any kind human POV.
She was…different.
She looked like a fairy, taken away from her magic forest, away from her world, and brought to high school.
She always had a small smile on her face. Sometimes, her eyes will glaze, as if she was daydreaming, and her smile will grow. Sometimes, it will turn into a little frown, but never for long.
It was almost possible to feel her happiness and love when she saw her boyfriend. Just like anything else, the big height difference didn't bother her. Every time I saw them looking at each other, I felt like I was intruding a private moment. I also felt a small pang of jealousy. Even though they were only in high school, It was obvious they were meant for each other, and I wished I had someone like that.
She didn't have friends at school, except her family. It wasn't because she wasn't nice, since she was. And from the one conversation I had with her, she didn't seem shy. I had expected her to be good friends with the cheerleaders, because she was so pretty and graceful, but she never seemed to show any interest in being popular, unlike the other girls.
After she declined the first invitation to the cheerleaders table, people started calling her a freak. I admit that I felt a little scared being too close to her, as if that small girl could hurt me, but it made me see her as more mysterious than as a freak.
I wanted to yell at those people for talking about her like that- yes, she seemed different, but it's not like she isn't human!
I know I don't really deserve reviews, but if you review I'll review yours!
