Red Hood Beyond

With a new Batman in Neo-Gotham, the city of Neo-Bludhaven needs a hero. And, someone has dawned the mantle of the Red Hood. But, there is one question. Is Jason Todd under the hood again?

This is tribute to the Batman Beyond stories. And to Jason Todd, The Red Hood. All rights reserved to DC Comics.

On the streets of Bludhaven, crime is all but out of control. The police are powerless, the law is rotten to it's core. It's time someone took the stand of this city. Gotham has a new Batman, so Bludhaven shall have a new version of the Red Hood. What the system can't touch, I'll obliterate. No crime lord can be safe. I do not compromise, nor regret my actions. My attacks on crime will be shift and brutal.I'm going to save this city, or die trying.

One late night, in a small store. The clerk, bored out of her mind, stared at the T.V. screen. A man in a gray suit was on the other side of the store looking at what soft drink to get. Just then a small three men in black cloths and mask, armed with guns ran through the door. "Alright, give us all the creds you got!" the leader yelled. The clerk screamed. The man ducked, pulling out a gun. "See if there's anyone else here." the leader told one of the other men. He searched down the isles, the man stood up. The thug aimed from behind and shot him. "Ahh!" the clerk screamed, as the blood splattered against the window.

"Shut up, and give me the creds." the leader said, aiming his gun right at her. Tears began to flow from her eyes. "Please, don't kill me." she pleaded. Just then another man, came in. He was wearing a gray skin tight suit, a large red skull was on his chest. A red helmet completely covered his head. "Who the heck are you?" the other thugs asked. The man pulled out his own gun and fired at the two men. The shots killed them both. Suddenly the other thug shot at the man, the shot had missed him. The man shot back, the shot blew up the thug's hand that was holding the gun. He screamed in total pain. The man walked up and aim the gun at his thug's head. "W-what do you want?" he cried. The man took the shot, killing him. "Justice." the man said, his voice was completely distorted.

He turned and walked back to the clerk. "Don't worry, the cops will be here soon." he said, putting the gun away. He then walked toward the door. "Wait, who are you?" she asked. He turned back to look at her. "I'm the Red Hood." he then left the store.
