AN: Hello everyone! My name is fandom fanatik, or fanatik for short! I am a huge phan and I've always wanted to write a fanfic for it.
Well, I finally decided to sit down and write it! XD This is my first ever fanfic so constructive criticism is highly appreciated and welcome.
Please note that I do not own Danny Phantom, otherwise I wouldn't end it with Phantom Planet.
So, without further adieu, I present to you Silent Phantom!
Hi, my name is Danny Fenton, or Phantom depending on who you ask. You see, two years ago I was in an accident that gave me ghost powers. I've been secretly using them to save my hometown from the malevolent ghosts that try to take over the mortal realm. Not everyone believes that I'm actually trying to help them, but most people have had a change of heart. The only ones who haven't really are my parents. They still believe all ghosts are evil but my sister Jazz is trying to get it through to them that there are good ones.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Jazz and my best friends Sam and Tucker know that I'm half ghost. Sam and Tuck were there when the accident happened and have always helped me out of tough situations. They help patch me up whenever I get badly hurt. The first time they did was when I broke my arm after a run in with Technus. I was really grateful that my parents weren't at home and that Tucker was first aid certified. Right after that first incident we all decided to get our certification just to be on the safe side.
I can't tell you how many times that I've had to be stitched back together by the two of them. Sam has become a master at stitching up the lacerations that riddled my body. I still feel guilty about it but they always tell me it doesn't bother them and that they are proud to lend a hand whenever they can. No matter what they say I still feel terrible whenever I fly through Sam's window at three in to morning with ectoplasm spilling all over her carpet.
There is no way I would have lasted as long as I have without them around. They understand me better than anyone in the world, well, almost anyone at least. Jazz has always been a huge help too, but not in the same way that Sam and Tuck have. Ever since she found out I was Phantom she has been helping me out with the more human aspect of my life. She's always covered for me when I go ghost and even helps me with my homework so I don't have to stay back a year. I know I wouldn't have made it past freshman year if it weren't for her hardcore tutoring that she drilled into me a few days before the finals.
My friends and sister have always been there for me and I know that I would not have survived so long without any serious damage for so long. I always thought that I was lucky to be alive, or half alive in my case. But somewhere deep down I knew that my luck was going to run out one day, too bad I was right.
This is the story of the day my luck ran out.
