This is set in an alternate reality. The one where Clark is going to give up his powers for Chloe. They are in Clark's apartment. Read and Review Please!

"You want to give up everything you have ever known for me?" Chloe watched Clark intently. He couldn't really want to give up the person he was inside. Especially for her.

"Chloe, you are the most important thing to me, and I want to be with you. I want to show you the love you deserve, but I can't do that if I'm superman. By being Superman, I would put you in danger to my enemies. I could never do that, not to you." Clark placed his hand on Chloe's shoulder, trying to make her see the truth. Slowly, Chloe took a couple of steps forward, and put her hand in Clarks.

"Clark, when you put on that red suite, you choose a destiny that is way greater then one we could have had together. You choose to be something amazing, something wonderful." Tears were now streaming down Chloe's face, and Clark whipped them away.

"Chloe, it could work. I could..." Chloe looked into Clarks eyes. Reaching up her hand, she cradled his head.

"No, Clark it couldn't but, I'm okay with it. I'm okay with it, because, every time I hear about something the great superman did, I will remind me how much I love you. It will also remind me that you gave up what we could have had, for something so much more important. I'll just be one of your fans, along with about a million other girls." Standing up on her tiptoes, she softly touched her lips to Clarks. For a moment, if just that moment, the world stopped spinning. Both of their fears and regrets were healed, and they just stood there holding each other. The kiss was soft and sweet, but also tinted with something deeper. Something they both knew was coming. It was their last kiss, but it seemed like their first. Slowly, after what seemed like years, Chloe pulled away. Backing up a couple of steps, Chloe turned to walk away. She could feel his eyes on her, but she couldn't turn around. What would she say? Getting to the door, Chloe turned to look at Clark. Suddenly screaming erupted from the building across the road. Clarks and Chloe stared at each other for what seemed like forever. Finally, Chloe smiled.

"Go, do your flying thing. They need you." Chloe turned to walk out the door, but not before hearing the cheers below the apartment window.

I'm going to write one from Clark's point of view. Tell me what you thing please!
