The Brotherhood never found out about Magneto still being alive
Beast never died! (Not that it matters for many chapters…)

And, just so you know, here's how the couplings work
Jean Grey and Cyclops – married
Iceman and Rogue – married
Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch – married
Forge and Storm – married
Wolverine and Emma Frost – one night stand, no romantic attachment
The couplings really don't matter, none of these characters really appear for a very long time (at least after the prologue)
