Chapter 1
Later that afternoon Lorelai walks into the diner and sees Rory sitting on the counter and walks over to her.
''Hi sweetie!'' Lorelai says hapilly putting her hands on Rory's knee's
''Hi Mommy!'' Rory says
''Hey!'' Luke says
''Hi Hun!'' Lorelai says
''Muah!'' she says and kisses him
''so whatcha got there sweetie?'' Lorelai asks her
''oh my old teddy bear we were cleaning out my old trunk earlier and she found it and I told her that she could keep it.'' Luke tells her
''aww well that was so nice what did you name him sweetie?'' Lorelai asks her
''Lukey!'' Rory tells her excitedly
''aww well that's the perfect name for him kido!'' Lorelai tells her
''yea!'' Rory says excitedly
''you want some coffee?'' he asks her
''oh to go please.'' she tells him
''to go?'' he asks her
''yea I was actucally thinking about taking a run over to my parent's just to see them and check in and up on them.'' she tells him
''oh.'' h says
''yea so kido do you want to take a run over to Grandma and Grandpa's with me?'' Lorelai asks her
''otay!'' Rory says
''okay come on.'' Lorelai helps her down off the counter onto her hip
''bye.'' he says
''bye babe see you tonight kiss.'' she leans over to the counter
Luke kisses her and watches her take Rory out to the keep and get her in and watches them drive off.
Rory falls asleep with her new teddy bear on the way to Hartford.
When the girls get there they go up to the door with Lorelai carrying Rory and Emily opens the door.
''Lorelai.'' Emily says
''Hi Mom!'' Lorelai says
''what are you girl's doing here?'' Emily asks her
''just came to see how you and dad were.'' Lorelai tells her
''oh come on in.'' Emily tells her and lets her in closes the door behind her
