Summary: Sonny has always had a desire for Chad; like she wanted him to be the chaser instead. After a serious car reck, she loses her memory. Not remembering anything, Chad helps her regain it. Cute Channy:)
Like A Crow Chasing A Butterfly
"Just like a crow chasing the butterfly,
Dandelions lost in the summer sky.
When you and I were gettin' high as outer space,
I never thought you'd slip away.
I guess I was just a little too late."
Heavy raindrops poured down from the translucent sky; shattering into nothing once it hit the her windshield. Lightening illuminated the sky and the thundered moved the ground. Sonny's windshield wipers had trouble keeping up with the rain. She tapped her fingers on the steering wheel impatiently. Her eyes flickering to the clock and then back to the road.
Traffic still in an uproar.
"No, no, no!" She shouted as the music fuzzed in the back round.
The traffic started to roll forward and she breathed a heavy sigh. Pushing on the gas a little bit, a few horns beeped at the slow pace she kept going at. Irritated; she opened the window and threw up her middle finger.
She giggled a little bit at her own action.
"That's what you get for beeping at me, genius." She said, proud of herself.
She rested her head on the palm of her hand, wishing to be at Condor Studios.
That's all she fucking wanted.
In anticipation, she reached down and grabbed her phone. Pressing the green button over the known name; Tawni Hart. It ringed three times until a female voice answered. "Sonny, where are you?" Tawni asked, her tone strict and tight. Caring was never really a trait of hers, so when it did happen, it came out worse.
Sonny giggled lightly.
"I'm stuck in traffic, and it sucks. The storm is really bad too." She replied, looking up at the desperate sky.
"Well get your butt over here! We have a show tonight, remember?" The worried girl questioned bitterly.
"Tawni, calm down. I'll be there in twenty minutes and that's the most." Sonny reassured her, even though she was an hour away. The cars infront started to move faster. "Besides, I'm scared to tell Chad. He scares me."
"Whatever. Well that's what happens when your in love with the heart-breaker. You should know that by now." She said rather rudely. Tears started to well up in Sonny's eyes. Tawni's comment breaking her heart,
"I do, you could atleast be more thoughtful. Gosh, I didn't know that you were such a bitch." Her voice cracked at the end.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out like that."
"Whatever. Bye." She wiped off a stranded tear furiously.
"Son-" She hung up before she could hear her finish what she was gonna say. She revved her car forward. Noticing that her car was in the middle of the intercection. The poor girl put her phone back into it's place.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw headlights coming toward her way. She gasped at the semi-truck rammed into the side of her little car. She shut her eyes in fright as it kept flipping over. Rolling down the street and finally stopping in the ditch.
Her world fading into black; her last thought about the blonde-haired boy.
