woah. It has been a long, LONG time since I uploaded anything.

Anyhow, this one has been bouncing around in my skull for a while. The basic premise is, the boys of Zero Two go on a road trip across the U.S. While on this venture, the expected guy bonding ensues.

Enjoy!

"WHOO-HOOO!"

"Slow down!"

The Mustang convertable roared along the road, zooming at speeds generally advised against on civilized roads. And, much to the chagrin of the passengers, the driver showed no signs of wanting to slow down.

"Seriously, Davis, pull over or something, lunch's making a comeback."

"NOW? Use T.M's hat, he won't need it."

"HEY!"

"Alright, fine..."

The car screeched to a halt, then both doors flew open as Ken and Cody made a mad dash for the nearest ditch. The driver leaned back in an attempt to calm the andrenaline coursing through his body, only to find himself in a headlock courtesy of Takeru, or "TK," as he was known.

"Borrow my hat, huh!"

"Aww, c'mon, you've got a million of 'em!"

This continued much in the same way; meanwhile, Cody came up gasping for breath, followed shortly by Ken, whose face had taken on an unhealthy greenish pallor.

"What moron- huff huff- gave Davis- puff puff- a license?"

"I have no idea..."

They both watched their comrades chase each other wildly around the vehicle. ("Jeez, T.C., it was a joke! Lighten up!" "It's T.K! Get it right!") Cody sighed and shook his head.

"Remind me why I agreed to come along."

"First, we needed someone reliable, and that is your Crest, after all."

"It was Joe's first."

"He knew Davis would be driving."

Cody made a mental note to have words with the would-be doctor when they returned.

"Next Reason."

"Kari wanted you to look after 'her boys.' "

Cody looked over to where Davis was applying the Deadly Noogie technique (TM) to T.K.

"Okay, I can believe that one."

"Third, Yolei and Davis can barely stand each other during normal circumstances; can you imagine if she had to ride along?"

Cody shuddered.

"True. Very true."

"And fourth, you promised Erica a souvenier!" Davis practically crowed as Cody found himself victim of the latest headlock/noogie combination. Cody quickly grew red-faced (embarassment or lack of air, we may never know) and sputtered as he attempted to free himself. This, however gave T.K. time enough to launch a flying tackle at Davis, while Ken still wasn't well enough to shift out of the way. For a few moments, the boys were indescernable in a blur of flying fists and tangled limbs; then they fell in a heap, bruised and out of breath. Davis raised an arm.

"Truce?"

T.K. raised his hand.

"Truce."

After picking themselves off of the ground and dusting off, they headed to the car. On the way, Davis attempted to give Cody advice on what gift to give his girlfriend; being Davis, this advice was well meant, but logically unsound.

"Okay, how about flowers?"

"Davis, we're on a two week road trip; the flowers would be dead before I could give them to her."

"True. How aboout jewelry, then?"

"Too expensive; plus she has enough."

"Hmmm... Chocolates, perhaps?"

"No way. You and T.K. would eat all of it!"

"Hey, That's not true!"

"Then what about the batch that Ken bought for Yolei?"

"I still say it was flying monkeys!"

"You said it was bug-eyed aliens!"

"...Same thing!"

Cody sighed while Ken cuffed Davis upside the head, apparently not having forgotten, either.

"Anything else?"

"I dunno, a Cheeseburger, maybe?"

"DAVIS!"

"What? I'm hungry!"

Aight, so whaddya think? No, seriously, let me know.
