Both of Them

"I have faith in you. Both of you."
She watched as her father flustered in his embarrassment, as Will slipped away up the stairs. She settled back against the stone wall, tucking her dress underneath her to shield her legs from the frigid stones, and set about ignoring the rumpled pirates that crooned to her through the steel bars.
She did have faith in both of them.
She did love both of them.
But only one held her heart, and it wasn't the one who had held her cold hands through the bars and gone off in his chivalric glory to rescue her from death.
He would find Jack, she had no doubt. But it wouldn't be Will who would save her.
Jack could never let her hang.
