He was trying to pay attention. Really, he was. His mind just kept
wandering. He ran his tongue along the inside of his upper lip. There was
a line across there, he prodded it, remembering. It seemed to be a scar of
some kind… like when you chew on your lip. He smiled, and stared off into
space.
He was just going to explain to Lex why he hadn't shown up at Lana's party. He'd tried to explain it to her, but she didn't seem to completely believe him. He was sure Lex would. Lex listened to him.
He sighed and looked up at the clock. It was only 1 o'clock. 2 and half hours left. He caught something the teacher said about some war in France. Was this important? He let his mind wander back...
The creepy butler let him in, and he'd waited for Lex. Lex had a smile on his face when he'd poked his head out of the office and invited Clark in. He remembered grinning like a fool and hurrying out of the gaze of the butler. He told Lex all about Pete and Jodi and everything that had happened. He left out the meteor part and he frowned, thinking of the little lies of omission he was telling. No one knew the truth now. Not even his parents.
He looked down at the notebook he was supposed to be keeping notes on and stared blankly at the words. Had he just written all that down? He shook his head wondering if he could borrow Chloe's notes. He tried to see what she was working on out of the corner of his eye. Thankfully it looked like she was taking notes.
He and Lex talked about the party and he told Lex about watching the movie with Lana after it was over, but Lex was just staring at him. He blushed and stammered on about Lana or something. He didn't really remember. What he remembered was the smile that he'd gotten. Lex had covered his hand with his own, and looking in his eyes, Lex had kissed him. He was so surprised at first he didn't know what to do. He almost shoved Lex across the room in astonishment.
He tried to focus back on what the teacher was saying. What was that? Was that something about Lewis and Clark or was the teacher talking to him? He breathed in relief as he realized it was about history. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
His thoughts wandered back to the kiss and all that happened after. Lex between his legs, touching him, running his hands everywhere. It had been amazing. The feel of Lex's tongue on him. It had been over way too fast. Too inexperienced to control himself for very long.
He looked up at the clock on the wall again. 1:15? What the heck? Was that clock moving backwards? He sighed again, shifting again. He caught Chloe staring at him. He just smiled back and wondered what Chloe would think if she knew where his thoughts had been. He just grinned at her and hoped she couldn't tell what he was thinking. He looked back at the blackboard, scribbling down something, hoping it would be coherent later. He ran his tongue across the inside of his upper lip again. He was staring off into space again, thinking about how he'd gotten that. The look on Lex's face when he was done was burned in his mind. The desire in his eyes couldn't be hidden. Lex wrapped his arms around him and kissed him until he couldn't breathe. He remembered fumbling with Lex's clothes, trying to concentrate on not ripping anything. He remembered licking and tasting and sucking. He remembered wrapping his lips around his teeth... and that must be what this was on his upper lip. He remembered his teeth pressing into his lip, but not caring.
Chloe was looking at him again. He was sure he was turning all shades of red, as Chloe poked him... "The bell rang, Clark. What is the matter with you?" Clark just smiled and tried to think of anything that would let him get up from the desk to go to his next class.
