I, personally, would like to ask you a question. Have you ever wondered why You-Know-Who never settled down?
I know, a lot of you are probably thinking that he 'totally should've ended up with (insert name here)' or '(insert other name here)' or any of the other chicks he's picked up in his lifetime.
First note: He already had a family once, and, as you might recall, that didn't turn out so well. He ended up having to destroy them.
Second note: Rose is a wonderful person and all, but she's not the prettiest girl he's met, and they don't exactly have complementary personalities.
I know you all care about You-Know-Who as much as I do. Like me, you also probably can't say exactly why.
…But if you've seen the 4th episode of the 6th season, then you know why none of those things played out.
…and, like me, you are probably marveling at the awesome powers of Neil Gaiman, who wrote that episode.
