A/N: Yeah, I felt bored while writing Crimson Moon and decided to do a short one-shot of Bella and Edward, then as if on cue, the words came into my head, as if I could ever love you, and I was inspired to write this, what if Edward killed Bella and had no regrets? What if Edward was telling the truth, Bella was just a toy to pass time, and the story created itself.
Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight and its characters nor make any profit from this story.
I awakened to the soft calming scent of the meadow, our meadow. I opened my eyes to a bright canopy of the surrounding forest and the small uneven streams of light pouring on to the meadow. I felt warm under one of the few spots where the sun shined. I arose from my sleeping position and walked to the white freesias.
"Bella?" said a velvet-like voice.
I smiled and looked across to my love, my life, my reason for living.
"Edward."
As I walked over to him across the field of freesias, when I was half way there, he disappeared, and held me from behind and held me tightly.
"Edward you're hurting me!" I yelled in pain as I looked at him.
He smirked, and said, "As if I could ever love you, an insignificant human who could never compare to the grace and beauty of a vampire."
My eyes widened, my heart shattered and Edward bit me and drained me dry.
The last thought that drifted into my head was. Even if Edward could never love me, at least when I die, I'll be in his arms, the arms of my most precious person, and my death would be delivered by the one I love most.
A simple story of a girl who loved a boy, and then the boy betrays the girl by killing her without hesitation, just because he can. I think I'm going to cry, it's an awesome theme, like stabbing the best friend in the back, such a beautiful plot, and it's dark, evil, and simple. Crimson Moon chapter 7 should be out either tomorrow or Saturday. Please rate and review.
