Dylan's POV

Dylan slowly pulled up to Degrassi Community School. Thoughts of what could happen today gave him chills. The hair on the back of his neck stood on end. He jumped when Spinner ran up to the side of his car and shouted his name.

"What do you want?" he asked somewhat worried by the tone in his voice.

"It's Paige, come on!"

Dylan didn't even bother opening the door instead he jumped over the seat and chased after him. No, what's happening, what's going on? I figured there would be trouble today and I would have problems to solve, people to help and to push around, to extent, but that would involve Marco and me, not my sister. It's probably not even something to worry about, but the way Spin freaked when he got me.

After last night I wasn't sure if I was even going to see Marco today. I've never been so afraid of Italian, maybe we should have waited to tell Marco's dad about us, because all I could think about for the rest of the night was that the spaghetti was poisoned.

His father didn't yell or shout or even implode, no, he just sat the very, very, quietly. Then there was those three little words spoken so bitterly, "Pass the cheese." And that's all that was said the rest of the night and those few words hung over the meal like a fowl stench.

No sign of Marco this morning, but there was the group of people in the school parking lot. Spinner was pushing through the Horde to something I thought I would never see.

Paige was laying on the ground, blood trickling from her arm, car parked behind her, Spin and Hazel kneeling by her side. She wasn't moving.

"What the hell happened?!?!?" I looked between the two, waiting for an answer.

"We were walking to school through the parking lot and the car just came out from no where..."

That's all I could understand under the constant babble and mumbling. They were both about to break into tears, but I didn't have time for that. Spinner just sat there holding her hand tight, and mumbling her name and please hold on. And she had, she just had to hold on.

"Some one call an ambulance!"
