Prom night…
Random one-shot, this is what happens when my friends and I start talking about anime: randomness. Well, meg also wrote a one-shot almost identical to this, cause we came up with the idea together, but this is my version! So, yes, read on, and ya, that's all, I'm hungry.
Two weeks after the end of movie2
It
was the prom night, Kagome was going with Hojo.
Hojo
arrived and rang the doorbell – knowing it was Hojo – Kagome
answered the door.
"Come
in." Kagome smiled.
"Thank
you." Hojo stepped in, he was holding a package, when he got into
the living room; "um…Kagome?"
"Yes?"
Kagome said, turning to face him.
"I
have a present for you." Hojo held the package out to Kagome.
"Oh,
thank you." Kagome took the package, she opened it slowly.
In
the package was…the Celestial Robe!
Kagome
stared, wide eyed at the package, "what's wrong?" Hojo asked,
not noticing Kagome's eye twitching.
"The
Celestial Robe?" Kagome said quietly.
Unfortunately,
he heard her, "you've heard of it?" asked Hojo.
"Oh!
No I haven't." Kagome sweat dropped.
"Well,
let's go." Hojo held out his arm, Kagome took it, still in shock.
When
they got to the prom, Hojo opened the car door for Kagome, she got
out.
When
she stood up, Hojo took the Celestial Robe from her hands, and put it
over her shoulders, Kagome smiled weakly.
I
died because of this stupid thing! Kagome thought, at least it
brought me back to life…she thought as she entered the dance
hall.
About
half an hour into the prom; there was a huge noise outside.
People
went to the doors and opened them, on the other side of the doors
were a seething mass of demons.
"The
Celestial Robe!" numerous demon voices called.
"Oh
no!" cried Kagome.
The
demons began to attack, coming forward, knocking people out of their
was and sending them flying.
"I
need a bow and arrow!" Kagome yelled.
"Here!"
Hojo handed her a bow and quiver of arrows.
"Thanks."
She said, readying her bow and an arrow. She shot the arrow, but it
flew like a normal arrow and fell short of the target, "huh?"
Kagome was confused.
Then
one of the demons came forward and grabbed her, "meddlesome wench."
It said, before lifting her to its mouth, she screamed before it
swallowed her.
Kagome woke up in a cold sweat, what a terrible dream…going to the prom with Hojo.
