Mr. Pyramid's Messenger
Chapter 1- I am who?
I awoke that morning in the forest, my skin pale and numb, my hair wet and tangled. I couldn't remember how I got there or the events previous to then. I just knew my name and age, I knew I had a brother but I just couldn't find a name to go with him. I was under a thick umbrella of trees, their branches covered in snow. Where I was sitting was surrounded by frost, and small patches of snow that fell from the branches. As I got to my feet I noticed the scratches and bruises running up and down my legs, I scratched my head in confusion but flinched when I hit a tender spot near the back of my head. Looking down I noticed a lump under the fern I as standing by, moving the branches aside I pulled out a big book. It was red and had gold binding, on the front was a six fingered hand with the number one inside it. I couldn't remember the reason I had the book but I knew it was somewhat important. As I wandered the frost seemed to melt where ever I stepped but then crawled back into place once I had passed "odd." I said out loud startling some birds on a branch. Ahead of me a little ways off the path was a large stone, I had been walking for a while now and decided to lean on the rock and rest my legs. When I approached it though it shimmered and showed a tall lengthy figure I remembered exactly who that was "Mr. Pyramid…" I said softly backing away from the figure. It moved until it was pointing at my right hand, as I lifted it up to inspect it my palm glowed green. When the light faded I saw it, burned onto my hand was a triangle with an eye inside "No… no, no, no." I stammered focusing on the figure. He just nodded and faded away leaving the stone polished smooth. It was like a mirror it showed my reflection in clarity, I looked horrible my skin was white, my hair tangled and matted. Across my face a large red scratch crossed my left eye and down the right side of my neck. I traced the scratch with my finger, feeling no pain I relaxed a bit. Then I heard footsteps behind me, the crunching of snow the chattering voices of other people. I panicked and jumped into some bushes hoping to hide from their vision. "Huh never noticed that stone before." The tallest of the figures said touching the stone with her finger "Yeah me neither and I know these woods inside and out." The smallest one replied. Then it happened he turned right towards the bush I was hiding in, I think he saw me because he rapidly stepped back. "Wendy there's something there, in that bush!" he said quietly to apparently the tall female. She pulled out a hunting rifle and pointed it at me; I whimpered and retreated farther into the bush covering my eyes with my hands. The younger of the two pushed the rifle away and stepped ever closer to the bush I was hiding in. Slowly I heard him pull away the branches until I was fully exposed; I uncovered my eyes to find a 16 year old by staring at me his mouth open his expression tight. I knew I had no choice so I stood my full height, and looked at him closely; he looked like me the same eyes, hair color, and height. I then looked past him to find a woman with red hair and a plaid over coat her expression the same as the boys. I slowly backed away staying as invisible as I could have been, but he grabbed my arm and looked at me again. "Is it really you?" he said to me his voice cracking every other word "Do you remember me?" He asked again looking into my eyes "No" I said quietly trying to shake his hand off my arm "It's me Dipper, your brother." A memory suddenly popped into my head at that moment, I ignored it and replied "Can I come back with you?"
