Hello everyone. This is my first fanfic ever. So please go easy on me. I will add a new Chapter a week. I hope everyone likes this story. All rights go to Matsuri Hino.
Ch. 1: The Incident
Hikaru finally finished her last day of school before Christmas. Her brown hair flew behind her as she ran away from that prison like place. Her brown eyes shined as she looked down the street. She was so happy to be free. She was walking home when her two best friends, Erin and Buzz, ran up to her.
"Hikaru~!", said Erin and hugged her tightly.
"Hey Hikaru-chan.", smiled Buzz.
Hikaru smiles at the both. "Hey Erin. Hey Buzz-kun. How are you?"
"We're fine.", Erin responded right away without giving Buzz a chance to answer.
"That's good.", smiled Hikaru. "See you two tomorrow then?"
"Yep!", Erin and Buzz said in unison. They walked away in the same direction. They happened to be neighbors.
Hikaru finally made it home. She fumbled around in her school bag and found her keys. She unlocks the front door and walks in. The house is empty except for her white cat, Hikari. Hikaru was sitting on the couch, watching tv, when her parents came home.
"Hi Hikaru. How was your day at school?", Hikaru's mother asked.
"It was fine, Okāsan.", said Hikaru. She turned off the tv and went to her room. She was not fond of telling her mother about her school life. Once in her room, she opened her school bag and took out her math homework. She slowly started to work on it until she fell asleep.
She woke up suddenly when she heard her mother scream. Hikaru bolted out of her room and looked down the staircase. There, stood a man, sucking her mother's blood. He dropped Hikaru's mother and looked up at her. His mouth was covered in blood. He smiled at Hikaru. "Hello ōjo-chan."
Terrified, Hikaru turned around to run away. However, the man was too fast for her. He slashes her back with his nails to get her to stop running. Hikaru starts to fall when the man catches her. He digs his teeth into her neck and starts to suck her blood.
All the sudden, Hikaru hears a gunshot and she falls to the ground. She slowly and shakily sits to and turns around. She sees a sliver haired man who appeared to be slightly older than her. He walks over to her and asks, "Are you okay?"
Before Hikaru could answer, she blacks out.
Well, here is Chapter 1. I know it is short however, they will get longer as the story progresses... eventually. Any comments and contructive critism is welcome.
