Happy 16th, flyingdaggers!

You Should Have Known
Taking his index finger, he drew it slowly across the snow white surface of the cake. All, of course, while his boyfriend's back was turned, and the boy couldn't scold him for ruining the "masterpiece" he'd spent an hour or two preparing.
For the life of him, Haru couldn't figure out why his kitten decided to bake a cake, buy a present, and attend a surprise party for a person he barely knew, but as the cat said every time he mentioned this, 'A birthday is a birthday. It doesn't matter how well you know someone. If you don't hate 'em, you have to get them something.'
Stupid cat and his weird logic.
Kyo had asked him to help prepare the cake, but after an odd occurence that caused the entire kitchen to be covered with baking powder, Haru was demoted to watching from the counter, and handing the older boy whatever he needed.
and, of course, sneaking icing while he wasn't looking.
"You know," He began, as his kitten strategically placed the candles onto the cake. "You should have bought them one of those huge cakes that the hot chick jumps out of."
He shrugged off the glare his boyfriend sent him, while sucking slowly on his icing coated finger.
"I mean, I'd be surprized if you got me one of those."
Kyo didn't answer right away, but waited until he had finished with the candles -God forbid he stuck one in the wrong place- then turned to the younger boy and spoke to him in a voice that Haru wasn't sure if he was serious, or kidding.
"I'll buy her one if you'll jump out of it instead of a girl."
and this just wasn't a chance Haru would let himself miss out on.

It was obvious that Kyo Sohma had really outdone himself.
He entered the small building, barely able to carry the beautiful vanilla iced cake (that if you looked close enough, you would notice sections that had less icing than others) due to the much larger, heavier one he was forced to wheel through the door, and the average sized gift bag that hung from his left shoulder.
It was also obvious, although confusing to a certain orange headed teen, that the birthday girl was extremely pleased when Hatsuharu Sohma jumped -or more accurately, fell- out of the cake, and wished her the happiest of birthdays.
And when the girl mentioned that her biggest birthday wish was to see the two boys 'bang like they'd never banged before', Kyo wondered if he should have listened to Haru, at least once.
Really, he should have known better than to attend a party for a girl he barely knew.
fin.

I hate the ending,
but kudos to everyone who can guess who the birthday girl is.
If not..
I don't even know what.
